Weekly Predictions for Young and the Restless
Hey there, Young and the Restless fans. It is Belynda from Soap Dirt, and I have got your weekly edition of Young and the Restless predictions. I want to make that clear. These are predictions, not spoilers. I had one person comment.
I generally look at all your guy’s comments. Even if I don’t click a like or reply, I read all your comments. And somebody commented and saying, I don’t believe this spoiler. Okay. I am very clear.
And I just want to be clear again that I always specify when something is a spoiler. I think it’s important for you to know what’s a spoiler. And what is us having a conversation.
You know, like we’re sitting around talking about our favorite soap, having a cup of coffee. That’s what I feel like these discussions around predictions are. So I just want to be very transparent about that.
Major Storyline Developments on Y&R This Week
All right, we’re going to dig in. I’ve got five predictions for Y&R for the week. So my first prediction is that Chance Chancellor is going to sleep with Summer also. So on Monday, we saw that Chance, and Sharon did the deed.
But it feels like just kind of a fast and weird development, right? Just out of left field. A lot of fans are not seeing the chemistry between them. Some people are, but a lot of people are not.
And then also, on Monday, Adam asked Sharon if he can work with her running her new company. I am certain that she’s going to agree to that, and that will put her and Adam closer.
And that could definitely lead to some kind of romance between them. And with Sharon distracted by Adam Newman, we have to wonder if Chance will do the tango with Summer because most fans were expecting Chance and Summer to hook up.
Exploring the Possibility of a Chance-Summer Romance on Young and the Restless
They have chemistry, they are age appropriate. Believe it or not, the actress that plays Summer is actually three years older than the actor who plays Chance. I think he looks a little older than her.
But they are kind of a very age-appropriate romance compared to like Chance and Sharon, where Sharon and Adam are much closer in age. But we will say Sharon Case is gorgeous.
They can pair her with anybody romantically. They’ve even paired her with Victor Newman romantically before. A lot of people didn’t like that at all. And that was a very significant age gap.
So I have to wonder if they’re going to turn back around and go back to this Chance and Summer thing. And he’s going to sleep with Summer, too, because it’s not like he and Sharon are in a committed relationship.
You know, and if he sees her getting closer to Adam, or maybe he just messes up, have, you know, out drinking with, with Summer. Who knows?
New Beginnings and Unexpected Opportunities on Y&R
All right. Our second prediction is that Sally Spectra goes to work at Marchetti with Chloe and Chelsea in the week of July 24th. The official spoiler is that Sally gets an opportunity she didn’t expect.
And I have to wonder if it’s a professional opportunity with Chelsea Lawson, the new creative lead at Marchetti. She seems to want Chloe working there with her, but Chloe is also really good friends with Sally.
And I think that Chloe is going to ask Chelsea to hire Sally. And I think she can tell her, look, Sally’s a good designer, but she’s really down in the dumps.
Exploring Potential Professional Collaborations and Rivalries on Young and the Restless
And you have to remember that Chelsea did not want to work with Sally Spectra and Chloe last time. Even though Chloe was saying, look, I really think you’ll get along. But that was all about Adam. And now that Sally is not with Adam, it seems that that’s off the table.
Then Chelsea also had her mental health issues addressed. And so she might be in this like fresh start mode. Agree to give Sally a chance, and that’d be pretty exciting. Of course, Summer is holding the reins at Marchetti, and she is not entirely thrilled with Sally.
You might remember when Sally first came to Genoa City she actually set up Summer to get a job offer at Marchetti in Italy by using her contact with Eric Forrester. And she was looking to get her out of town.
She was conspiring with Kyle’s baby mama, Tara Locke. It was just very messy. So that would be really interesting if all three ladies were working together, right? I think they could be a tribe of BFFs. I think it’d be great.
Unfolding Drama and Unexpected Allies on Y&R
Our number three prediction is that Phyllis faces some serious backlash from the residents of Genoa City after she gets off scot-free. Phyllis Summers was arrested last week, but Heather Stevens is on the job in lieu of Michael Baldwin.
And this week’s promo shows Heather negotiating with Christine Williams. Of course, Christine wants to put Phyllis Summers away. But she really wants to put her away for the vehicular homicide attempt on her own life years ago.

No, it’s not really about this fake death scheme. However, Tucker McCall has bought Carson the EMT’s cooperation, so it definitely looks like Phyllis could come off as a victim and not a perpetrator. And if it works, she will be out of jail whiz-bang fast. But Phyllis Summers getting off scot-free is going to appall a lot of people in Genoa City.
The Impact of Tucker McCall’s Scheme in Genoa City
Ironically, in the same way, it appalled people when Diane Jenkins came back from the dead and got away with not facing any charges. So I predict that Phyllis Summers is going to face similar backlash to what Diane Jenkins faced. Ironically, since Phyllis thinks what she’s done is so different, the only thing she’s really done differently is the timing of it.
Diane Jenkins’ Resurgence and its Consequences for Phyllis Summers on Young and the Restless
They both got someone arrested who didn’t do the crime. They both faked their death, yadda yadda. The difference is that Diane Jenkins stayed away for two decades, and Phyllis stayed away for a couple of months.
But still, so, you know, Victor Newman, Nikki Newman, Nick Newman, Sharon Newman, the Abbotts, maybe even Lauren Fenmore are going to lay into her for what she has put everyone through.
And the mess that is Kyle Abbott‘s marriage. That mess can definitely be laid at her feet. Then the week of July 24th, we have an official spoiler saying that Lauren snaps and loses it. And with Michael being out of town, I have to think that it is about Phyllis Summers.
Fallout on Y&R: The Newman and Abbott Families React
All right, our number four prediction is that all the Abbott Abbotts turn on Ashley Abbott. They had just revealed on Y&R that Ashley does plan to snatch all the patents away from Jabot, and she and Tucker McCall were laughing about it. And her attitude is that even though Jabot is a family business, Jack Abbott has corrupted it by letting Diane Jenkins work there.

And Ashley Abbott doesn’t think it’s a big deal, but what she’s doing is screwing over the whole family and wrecking her dad’s company that he built as a legacy for all of them.
But Ashley is so just out of control with this anger. And Traci Abbott and Billy Abbott are stuck in the middle. Abby Newman doesn’t like what her mom is doing, and everyone thinks it is Tucker McCall that is drivingthis plan.
The Role of Tucker McCall in Ashley’s Actions on Y&R
But sadly, that’s just not true — it’s Ashley. Ashley’s hatred of Diane Jenkins is as toxic and out of control as Phyllis’s hate for Diane Jenkins. And I think when it all comes out, it’s going to be just as bad for Ashley.
And all the Abbotts may unite against her and try and shut down what she’s doing. That’s what I think is going to happen. All right. We’re going to dig into one sizzling last prediction that is about somebody cheating.
A Hint of Infidelity on Y&R: Tucker’s Potential Misstep
So, our fifth and final prediction in this special edition is that Tucker McCall is going to cheat on Ashley with Phyllis — or someone. So really, the prediction is Tucker’s going to cheat.
Tucker McCall never slept with Phyllis way back in the day, but he might now. He’s going to be seeing a lot of Phyllis because he’s leveraging her with this EMT testimony to keep herself out of jail.

And if you’ve been watching for a while, you know that Tucker McCall is a serial cheater who has not changed. He even cheated with Diane Jenkins back before she faked her death. That was back when Maura West was playing the role. So, to me, it just seems certain that Tucker McCall is going to cheat again. He already bedded Audra Charles while he was pursuing Ashley Abbott.
A Flashback to Tucker’s Past Relationships on Y&R
And he didn’t care about that. So maybe he and Audra Charles will hook up again. But maybe just maybe it’ll be Phyllis because they’re going to be in each other’s vicinity a lot.
Or it could just be some other rando woman, but it seems almost certain that he’ll be off bedding someone else once Ashley Abbott’s petty revenge games bore him.
