‘Young and the Restless’ Prediction: Tara Scamming Kyle – Gold Digger Plot with Theo?
Young and the Restless has Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) are playing family right now, but is there more to this plot than meets the eye? Remember, all this started when Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) spilled some tea to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Now, a CBS insider hinted that there might be a lot more to this storyline than meets the eye.
Young and the Restless: Tara Locke Plotted with Theo Vanderway?
Y&R recaps recall that all this mess with Kyle Abbott’s secret son began with Theo Vanderway calling Sally Spectra out of the blue. He already knew Sally and Summer Newman (Hunter King) rubbed each other the wrong way. So, Theo knew she’d gobble up any gossip on Kyle.
Then, he dropped the tidbit that Kyle had a juice affair with a married woman of a monstrous businessman, Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi). Next, Young and the Restless dropped the tidbit that Tara Locke had a child about nine months after their dalliance. So, Kyle did the math. And maybe took the bait.

But what if Tara was the one that got Theo to spill all that tea? Clearly, she wasn’t happy in her marriage to Ash. She told him that last week on the CBS soap. Plus, we learned that the Lockes had an “ironclad” pre-nup so she won’t get a payday. So, money might be the motive.
If the new lady on Young and the Restless doesn’t want to be a broke single mom, hooking a rich hot guy like Kyle Abbott is a perfect plot. And Theo’s shady enough to mess with Kyle just for the fun of it. So, is there a scheme playing out on Y&R right now?
Are Kyle Abbott & Ashland Locke Both Being Fooled on Y&R?
It could be, hint Young and the Restless spoilers, that Tara Locke loves two things – money and her son. Since she can’t get a payday from Ashland, she might want to get away with her kid, Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez). Yet, she knows Ash would fight her for the boy.
However, introducing a replacement biological father would block Ashland’s custody move – and a rich one would be even better So, making Kyle Abbott her target is a perfect plot for Tara on Y&R. That way Tara can get her son away from Ash and still live in the lap of luxury.
So, is there a chance that Tara Locke’s cooked up a scheme to take Summer’s man on Young and the Restless? She’s already halfway there. Tara’s living in the Abbott house, spending time playing happy family with Kyle Abbott. And she’s winning over the other Abbotts.

Already, Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) smitten with Harrison and pleased to be a grandfather. So, if Tara Locke is plotting, it’s working like a charm. She easily got Kyle to bring her and her son into the family fold. And the Abbotts are circling the wagons to protect her on Y&R.
Will Tara Steal Kyle and Run Summer off on Young and the Restless?
Spoilers wonder if Tara Locks will get everything she wants. And if she does – is she telling the truth or running a con? It wouldn’t be too hard to rig a paternity test to convince Kyle Abbott and her estranged husband. The CBS source says the writers might be flipping the script.
The Young and the Restless source points to Summer giving Kyle his first bio-child. And they said that it’ll come out that Tara’s been lying and using Kyle. But if it works out for her, she might send Summer packing. Supposedly the “Skyle” wedding’s back on, but we’ll see…
Of course, Hunter King may leave to shoot an ABC pilot, so we could see her exit the soap for a while. Of course, the Young and the Restless scoop about Tara scamming Kyle is backstage chatter at this point, not a confirmed spoiler at this point.
So, watch for signs and red flags on Y&R to see if Tara Locke might be playing awful games with Kyle Abbott. And if Theo helped her. If she is using adorable little Harrison as a pawn, then it’s pretty terrible – but a very soapy thing to do indeed. Wait and watch soap fans…
