Victoria Newman Uses Adam Newman — Y&R Weekly Spoilers April 4 – 8
As the Newman family gathers around, Victoria finally details her plan to bring Ashland down. However, everyone must agree to cooperate for everything to fall into place. She will continue to act as if she supports and loves her husband.
All the while, she will work behind the scenes to oust him from their lives and business. Victoria Newman needs Adam to take responsibility for setting up Ashland. If the heat is off Ashland, he will let his guard down, and Victoria will pounce.
Because of Adam’s sordid past, it will be an easy sell on Young and the Restless. Then, Adam insists he assumes the role of CEO of Newman-Locke. It’s supposedly temporary while Victoria works her magic.
He will comply if the family agrees with his conditions. With no other choice, everyone honors his demands. But Victoria is the one who will do all the heavy lifting.
However, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is a wildcard. Will the family let him in on their secret? Or will he throw a wrench in Victoria’s plans? Things will get complicated as the Newman Family comes together to punish Ashland once and for all.
Young and the Restless Week Ahead Spoilers: Jack Abbott Connects with Allie Nguyen
Jack Abbott is working hard to develop a relationship with his newly discovered granddaughter. She is the only connection he has left to his late son. Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) is unsure of how to proceed.
But she is willing to give Jack the benefit of the doubt. The reappearance of Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) almost derailed their newly formed relationship.
But the traumatic events of her return seem to solidify Jack and Allie’s connection. Young and the Restless spoilers indicate Allie softens towards the Abbott heir as they get to know each other better.

Things go so well that Jack invites Allie to come to Genoa City. He wants to introduce Allie to the rest of the Abbott family. He reassures the cautious woman that she has a supportive family who would love to meet her.
But so much has happened that Allie’s head is reeling. While she doesn’t accept his invitation, Allie promises to think about it. Current spoilers hint that she will decide to take Jack’s offer and soon arrives in town for a family reunion.
However, everyone is not as welcoming as Jack hopes. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is not ready to trust her grand-niece just yet. Ashley will support Jack while keeping a close eye on the newest Abbott to join the fold.
Young and the Restless Updates: Adam Has Plans of his Own
With Victoria’s plan in place, Adam agrees to take the fall for the family. Since he is the dark horse of the clan, it just makes sense. However, he also has a scheme he is working on. Adam Newman complies. But Victoria shouldn’t get too comfortable.
Adam is always looking out for number one. Once Adam is appointed as temporary CEO at Newman/Locke, his deception begins. He is determined to keep the position permanently. But Adam Newman has his work cut out for him.

Even after leaving the family legacy in jeopardy, Victor still supports Victoria Newman. So even if they successfully get rid of the Locke Ness monster for good, more drama ensues.
