‘Young and the Restless’: Kyle Walks Out – Summer Dumped – Rebound Romance Alert (VIDEO)

Young and the Restless super-couple Summer Newman and Kyle Abbott are dangerously close to splitting up after Summer’s recent lies. If Kyle walks out on his lying wife, who will the CBS sudser pair them with next?

Young and the Restless: Summer Newman’s Lies Last Straw for Kyle Abbott

Currently, on Y&R, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is raging mad at his wife, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier). First, he followed her to the Genoa City Athletic Club. Then, he came face-to-face with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Rightfully, Kyle was livid with Phyllis.

But things got worse when he noticed that Summer didn’t seem too surprised to see her mother alive. She seemed surprisingly calm. Later, he called her out on it, and she lied. She said that was the first time she had seen her mom alive on Young and the Restless.

She continued to lie to his face until the next day when he demanded to see her phone. He found all the texts between her and her mom via the burner phone. Finally, Summer admitted to Kyle that she had been lying all this time. She hated to do it, but she did it for her mom.

Indeed, this stunt is like old-school Summer when Hunter King played the role. Like when she and Kyle made that dirty bet about her sleeping with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) when he was with her mom.

The same Summer who held out on her kidney donation to Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) until Kyle agreed to marry her – kidney blackmail. So, it looks like her true colors are peeking back out. Recently, Kyle flipped out and stormed out of the mansion.

Now we have to wonder if this will be the final straw for him and if he was walking out of their marriage and not just the house. If so, we wonder who Young and the Restless might pair them with next.

Who Will Kyle Rebound with on Y&R?

So if Kyle decides to end his marriage over Summer’s lies, he will eventually need a new love interest. There aren’t too many single ladies on the canvas right now, but there are two that stand out on Young and the Restless. First, there’s Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).

No doubt, Kyle would be like catnip to power-hungry Audra. She’s a little spicy and shady, but so is Summer. Then, there’s also Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy), who’s newly single. She’s sweet and kind and might be a better match for Kyle.

Plus, they’d both be fresh out of relationships where they were betrayed by people they thought they could trust. So that’s a real possibility. Perhaps, they could help each other heal and move on.

Summer Sparks with Chance on Young and the Restless?

Then for Summer, a good match might be Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd). No doubt, there was chemistry between the two of them when they were trying to find her mother’s “killer.” They’ve been talking a lot lately, and soon Summer might turn to him for advice if Kyle bails on her.

Then, they might spark. Of course, Chance seems to be interested in Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). However, Sharon will probably end up back with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) at some point soon.

This Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) crisis is pulling them together and pulling Nick away from Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). So if Sharon’s off the market, that would leave Chance free to pursue someone else — like Summer. Of course, “Sklye” fans would be bummed if they split.

But Summer messed up, and it doesn’t look like there’s any coming back from that. Y&R will keep you on the edge of your seat these days. Be sure to watch daily to see if Kyle Abbott ends his marriage to Summer Newman on the CBS daytime drama.
