‘Young and the Restless’: Diane Doomed as Threats Pile Up
Young and the Restless outcast Diane Jenkins may be doomed to spend the rest of her life in prison because everyone’s out to get her on Y&R. Can she be saved on the CBS sudser?
Young and the Restless: Phyllis Summers Doubles Down
Soon, on Y&R, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) reveals she’s alive. But that doesn’t mean Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is off the hook. Red can still destroy her enemy by claiming she was working with Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) to kill her.
Then, Red managed to escape Stark’s clutches – which is partially true. She killed her cohort in self-defense — but no one knows that. So she can control the narrative, and Diane could still go down for attempted murder.
On top of that, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) believes she’s guilty. Plus, she will likely be so happy to have her mom back that she’ll believe anything she tells her. So Red will have her daughter in her corner on Young and the Restless.
Together, they can convince all of Genoa City that Diane is guilty. Also, they’re not the only ones who want her behind bars. She has many other enemies in town who hope she gets put away for good.
Ashley Abbot Attacks on Y&R
Another person who’s after Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) fiancée is his sister, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). Soon, Jack is so desperate to prove his fiancée is innocent that he crosses a line.
Ashley already believes Diane will cost her brother everything on Young and the Restless. And when he makes this risky move, it may cause her to spring into action.
Soon, Ash conspires against her. And she may convince herself that she’s doing it for her brother’s own good. So, with all these forces aligning against her, she may be in the slammer for quite some time.

Any Hope for Diane Jenkins on Young and Restless?
Indeed, things look grim for Jack’s back-from-the-dead fiancée. The only two people that want to help her are Jack and their son Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Everyone else is determined to lock her away for life.
So, the only way she can go free is if Phyllis slips up or if Stark turns up alive and blows Red’s cover. Or if her attorney Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc), can somehow prove she’s being set up. Indeed, those are all long shots on Young and the Restless.
So, it looks as though she’ll be in prison for the foreseeable future and will push her family away to make them move on. Y&R is full of shockers. Don’t miss it to see if there’s hope for innocent Diane Jenkins on the CBS daytime drama.
