Y&R casting news has Colin Atkinson back on the scene in Genoa City. Colin’s got scenes with Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) and his son Cane Ashby. It’s confirmed that Daniel Goddard is out at the CBS soap, and it was initially reported his last air date was October. However, there’s clarifying information now.
The October 25 date was his last scene on Young and the Restless with Christel Khalil (AKA Lily Ashby). But Cane Ashby’s leaving Genoa City soon, and it seems Colin Atkinson’s out of the blue arrival sets the stage. New returnee Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) asks questions about Colin Atkinson and the will.
So, it seems that we’ll find out soon what role Colin Atkinson played in what’s likely a fraudulent will. Perhaps it was drawn up back in the day and then scrapped and the replacement will’s hidden? Y&R Comings and Goings for the Holidays: Fenmore Baldwin, Faith Newman and Maybe Gloria Bardwell
Young and the Restless comings and goings confirm that Zach Tinker is back for the Christmas holiday. Right now, the character’s reportedly in rehab but Fenmore Baldwin will be home with his parents soon enough. And that should make Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E Bregman) happy.
Plus, Y&R casting confirms Alyvia Alyn Lind returns as Faith Newman. For a while, a SORAS was teased, but the tween actress looks older when she’s back. So, it looks like the soap may leave her alone for now. Last we heard about Faith, she was upset about her grandpa’s faked death.
Also, there’s a lot of chatter about Judith Chapman being on the set. So, Young and the Restless comings and goings tease Gloria Bardwell might be back to spend Christmas with her boys Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc). Watch for updates on that.
Young and the Restless Casting Update: Jeffrey Vincent Parise Out – Marla Adams Comes and Goes
Finally, Y&R casting reports say villain Simon Black is done. So, the always-excellent Jeffrey Vincent Parise’s done on the CBS sudser. This is a bit disappointing since the soap has no good villains lurking in GC. And JVP did a bang-up job on GH as baddie Carlos Rivera for years. Maybe he’ll be back.
Also, Marla Adams is out again as Dina Mergeron but will be recurring on Young and the Restless now and then. We may see more of her with the revelation that Theo Vanderway’s (Tyler Johnson) her grandson. And that also indicates that Johnson should stick around.
