Young and the Restless comings and goings name-dropped Ashland Locke several times recently and now, we know who’ll play the part – Richard Burgi. If you don’t know him – Burgi’s an exciting character actor who’s done top-notch work on another daytime drama in a critical role.

Y&R nabbed a top talent casting Richard Burgi as Ashland Locke. Although the writers slapped him with a ridiculous nickname – the Locke-Ness Monster – the role seems interesting (and evil). And Burgi’s played a wicked soap villain before.
Young and the Restless viewers that watch other soaps might recognize him from a run at General Hospital. There, he played Paul Hornsby, a silver fox District Attorney. However, Paul turned out to be a diabolical serial killer – brutally claiming lives and terrorizing Port Charles.
His GH DA had a long history from the 90s and tangled with legacy player Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott). His final murder was sweet nurse Sabrina Santiago. Now, it looks like Burgi’s bringing that dastardly aspect to the new Young and the Restless bad-guy, Ashland Locke.
Y&R Comings & Goings: Ashland Locke Has 2 Plots Ahead
Young and the Restless comings and goings have Ashland Locke in two storylines. One, with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) who wants to purchase Ashland’s media company. The Mustache wants to weaponize it against Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) at his side.
Second, Young and the Restless spoilers explain Ashland Locke might come for Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Although Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) insists that her hubby not Kyle, is her baby daddy. So, when Ashland comes to town, that’s sure to come out on the CBS sudser.
Already, Tara panicked on Young and the Restless when Kyle asked questions about her son. So, if Ashland Locke’s as scary as they say, the DNA test Kyle wants could blow up Tara’s life. And Ashland might come after the Abbott heir for bedding his wife. This could be really good.
