Days of Our Lives fans saw Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) offering Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) a place to lay her head — in his bed. And his fiery ex, Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus), was not the only person that could see their chemistry.
Viewers have not stopped talking about the sparks between the mob princess and her family’s former employee. Will the sultry troublemaker and recently jilted mechanic do the deed on the NBC soap?
Days of our Lives: Jake DiMera Always Attracted to Bad Girls
After a whirlwind relationship on DOOL with his dead twin’s brokenhearted wife, Jake DiMera was finally sure that Gabi loved him for who he was. And not because he was Stefan DiMera’s clone.
At first, on Days of Our Lives, Jake tried his hand at corporate shenanigans for her benefit and failed. But they moved past it. However, sleeping with his handsome, “devilish” nephew Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) was not something he could easily forgive or forget.
Jake DiMera also had an exciting fling with hot-to-trot great-grandmother Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow). But while she screamed “yes” in the bedroom, she voted “no” in the boardroom. So, after that, she and Jake were through.
And, of course, Jake’s long-term gal Friday was the long-lost Devereaux spawn, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). She moved on and is now banking on delusional Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) to stay that way.
That way, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will agree to settle for the British beauty. So, Jake’s got no joy looking for love in his past. But a hot lady mobster is warming his sheets in the present. That’s Ava Vitali. Will they spark on Days of Our Lives?

Just ask Ava’s ex, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols), about coming from the wrong side of the tracks. Patch knows all about getting involved with the wrong woman. He and Jake DiMera have a lot in common. They both chose better lives for themselves.

As a member of the Vitali crime family, Ava proved herself to be a worthy adversary. But Ava Vitali claims straight-arrow cop Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) convinced her to change her ways. So, Ava may appreciate a bad boy that turns his life around.
Of course, at one point, Ava teamed up with Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) to use Jake’s past against him. Will this old scam stunt any budding romance between the roommates? Or is all forgiven on Days of Our Lives?
Days of our Lives: jake & Ava Both Fed up with the Hernandez’s Hypocrisy
Ava Vitali learned about Rafe and Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) cheating. That’s about the same time Jake DiMera found out about Gabi’s dalliance with JoDevil. Soon, the Hernandez siblings may get a taste of their own medicine, hint DOOL spoilers.

For now, there’s chaos among couples. And it’ll get much more complicated if Ava Vitali hits the sheets for real with Jake DiMera. Will we soon see Jake groaning for real as Ava works him over (and not just a massage)? Wait to see…
