He knew she eyed the CEO position at DiMera Enterprises. The fashionista and her boyfriend worked together to climb their way to the top.
However, Twitter recaps show Johnny tricks Gabi into thinking her boyfriend double-crossed her. During the board meeting, everything goes haywire for the former CEO.
Not only does Gabi Hernandez win the top dog seat, but JoDevil gets put on the board as well. He was further pushing his uncle to the wayside.

But, they now believe Belle became possessed and messed up her client’s trial. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Belle fought tirelessly to free EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). JoDevil wanted his dad out of the picture.
