Where is Mariah Copeland on ‘Young and the Restless’ – Cursed Location with Tie to Abby?

Young and the Restless spoilers see Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) begins to panic this week because she doesn’t know where she is or who’s brought her there. So, where is Mariah on Y&R and who kidnapped her? Another big mystery is why her loved ones aren’t more concerned about her lengthy absence from their lives.

Where is Mariah Copeland on Young and the Restless?

This week on Y&R, there’s finally more scenes with obviously captive Mariah Copeland. There’s no question that someone nabbed the surrogate and stashed her in this room. But exactly where is Mariah? Why did they grab her – and what’s the end game with this?

This week, Mariah Copeland takes in her surroundings on Young and the Restless. The room she’s in is pretty nice. It’s not some ratty motel. It certainly doesn’t look like the place where Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) usually stashes the people he kidnaps.

Remember, he grabbed both Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) over the past couple of years. But Mariah’s not being held in either of those locations on Y&R. Mariah is also not at the boathouse.

However, Young and the Restless offers some big clues this week on where Mariah Copeland is being held by the kidnapper. What’s shown in coming days limits the possible locations greatly and points heavily to one possible location.

Is Abby Newman the Key to Finding Where her Surrogate is Held on Y&R?

Remember on Young and the Restless that Ben Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) suggested that Mariah might have fallen prey to a fan of Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks). But that seems a stretch since it’s been Stitch creeping around the Chancellor Mansion.

Not only was Stitch creeping and watching Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), but was also peering in at Mariah Copeland, her surrogate. While it’s possible that Ben was lurking there to protect the women of the house, his actions point to a creepier purpose.

If Ben Rayburn is the one that kidnapped Mariah on Young and the Restless, then it’s definitely a crime about Abby as much as it’s about Mariah. Another red flag is that Stitch and Abby lost a baby while she was pregnant. And Ben’s son could die soon too.

So, if this is about child of Abby’s that is in Mariah Copeland’s belly, that narrows down possible locations. That is if the kidnapper has a fixation on Abby. Could it be that Mariah’s being held somewhere that Y&R fans haven’t seen in a while?

Where is Mariah Being Held on Young and the Restless – Is it Carlton Manor?

There’s one place in Genoa City that’s creepy, cursed, linked to Abby, and the perfect place to stash the hijacked surrogate. That is Carlton Manor. Do you remember it? This week, look carefully at the room when they show Mariah Copeland.

So what is Carlton Manor? Locals branded it unlucky after a series of unfortunate events on Young and the Restless. Then, Brad Carlton (Don Diamont) took over the place and renamed it. He wooed a bunch of local ladies until he died in a snowstorm.

His daughter Colleen Carlton (Tammin Sursok) inherited it but drowned near where her dad died. A fire there tried to kill some of the Newmans. Then, on Young and the Restless, Abby Newman moved in there a decade ago. The soap hasn’t used the set since 2011.

So, what signs point to Mariah Copeland being at Carlton Manor? First, Abby abandoned it and moved to the Chancellor home. Second, Stitch would know about it given their history (assuming he’s the kidnapper).

Third, on Young and the Restless this week, we’ll see more of the room Mariah’s in now. There are no windows which means a basement. Fourth, it’s decorated nicely which means a fancy residence. Last, the room has a dumbwaiter (food elevator) which means a mansion.

Mariah Copeland can’t be in the Newman, Abbott, or Chancellor mansions. But the Carlton place is empty on Y&R. So, keep watching to see if it’s Ben that has Mariah – and whether he’s holding her in the basement of the house Abby still owns but where she no longer lives…
