Welcome to Plathville star Olivia Plath is willing to make many changes in her lifestyle. She wants to prove to her husband, Ethan Plath, that there is a big world outside of Cairo and to be a part of it.
Welcome to Plathville: Olivia Plath’s Next Move May Send Ethan Plath Running Back to Cairo
Following the past couple of episodes of Welcome to Plathville, TLC viewers learned a few new things about Olivia and Ethan Plath. First, fans know that Ethan is perfectly content living a small-town lifestyle.
He feels no need to run around spending tons of cash socializing when he can spend his time and money doing what he loves at home. She has clarified to her husband where she stands in their marriage.
Olivia Plath tells her husband that she is growing tired of being the one who is trying to keep them together. She also tells him to do as he pleases, so he can discover who it is he wants to be. However, she reveals there is a catch to it. She will also be doing whatever she wants as well.
Last week the Plathville siblings threw Micah Plath a birthday bash. Unfortunately, things went a little crazier than the eldest sibling wanted them to.
However, Olivia was geared up and ready to party. Later in the evening, the Plath party goers went to an adult venue at Micah’s insistence. However, Ethan was out of sorts.

He tells Micah he is uncomfortable and feels out of place, so he leaves. But his wife doesn’t offer to go. She instead stays back to party with Micah and enjoys some VIP fun. TLC viewers can tell he is not into this type of fun. But Olivia and Micah are committed to having a good time.
Olivia’s New Hobby May Not Be What Hubby Expects
So, following the birthday party fun on Welcome to Plathville, Olivia decides to learn something new. Moriah Plath has also agreed to join her sister-in-law in the new venture. They choose to sign up for a new physical fitness class.
However, this is unlike anything the women have ever tried before. First, they try their hands at pole dancing. When their instructor asks what brought them to the class, they admit it is their sheltered childhoods.
Moriah also says that she is recently getting out of a controlling relationship and wants to experience more of life on her own.
At the same time, most TLC Plathville fans may believe he would enjoy his wife’s new interests. However, the idea of his wife becoming more of a seductress may be too overwhelming for him.

They know that while the Welcome to Plathville siblings were out at the adult club for Micah’s birthday, Olivia was mocking her husband’s shyness and innocence to her friend.
She knows this type of stuff makes Ethan anxious. So, viewers believe that when Ethan finds out what Olivia Plath is up to, he may not be enthusiastic about it.

Welcome to Plathville followers know that the young married couple continues to experience marital issues. Some feel they jumped into marriage too young to escape the Plath parents’ strict rules and beliefs.

Plath feels she is at the end of her rope with her husband. Fans believe the two need to compromise and agree on their life soon. Or else they may find themselves heading down the same path as his parents’ Kim Plath and Barry Plath.
