‘Welcome to Plathville’: Moriah Stands Up to Olivia

Welcome to Plathville star Moriah Plath was not kidding when she said she had reached her limit with sister-in-law Olivia Plath. Many things are changing within the Plath family, and patience is wearing thin. So, they decide it is time to lay all their cards on the table once and for all.

Welcome to Plathville: Moriah Plath Is Pushed to Her Limit by Olivia Plath

Olivia’s behavior and attitude toward her family finally push Moriah Plath to the brink. Following the sibling trip to Jamacia, the Plath family plans to meet at the river to celebrate Ethan Plath’s birthday.

She gives her sister-in-law a heads up saying that everyone is invited. She explains the entire Welcome to Plathville family, including mom, Kim Plath, and dad, Barry Plath, will be there too.

Olivia appears a little apprehensive about intermingling with the family. Finally, however, she decides to go. But she leaves several hours early and takes her brother Nathan Meggs along for support.

Moriah was suspicious of her sister-in-law’s plans. She reveals having a bad feeling that things would become chaotic. After the family arrives at the river, Nathan and his sister hang back instead of interacting with everyone.

Finally, Olivia and Nathan decide they want to speak with Moriah about feeling excluded from the group activities. This did not sit well with Moriah.

She quickly becomes irate and tells her brother’s wife to stop playing as if she was taken by surprise. She reminds her she has been upfront and told her the exact family plans well in advance.

TLC’s Olivia Feels Cornered by Moriah

The Welcome to Plathville in-law becomes upset and walks away. She goes to her car with Nathan and discusses whether they should leave or stay.

Nathan convinces his sister to join the Plath family for dinner and try to interact. Soon, the little girls, Amber Plath, Cassia Plath, and Mercy Plath, come to talk to Ethan’s wife.

The rest of the family also joins them to make their daughter-in-law feel welcomed. Kim makes the first move by saying hello. She knows it is a small step, but at least her daughter-in-law acknowledges her presence.

Welcome to Plathville: Plath Family Bonding Underway

The women step aside to talk once again. Moriah tells her she knows she has said things to her that may appear harsh and out of character for her.

The two women agree that their relationship is essential to them. However, she adds that her family is going through a divorce, and she plans to stand with them all.

She also explains to Ethan’s wife how important all siblings feel to maintaining a strong family bond is to them. Her sister-in-law agrees, and they join the family on the river for a fun day. The Plath family has a long way to go to rebuild all the damaged relationships. But they reveal they are all.

As for Moriah Plath and Olivia, they seem to have reached an understanding for now. However, Olivia realizes that she and the rest of the Plath family have a way to go to build a trusting bond between them.

Season 4 wraps up with the Welcome to Plathville family, realizing that the coming changes will sometimes be challenging to navigate.

However, they feel at this point it is important to them all that they try. TLC viewers reveal that they think the family has a long road ahead. They also say they hope to see the Plath family return to the TLC lineup soon for Season 5.
