‘Welcome to Plathville’: Moriah Plath Suffers Huge Setback – Another Betrayal Revealed
Welcome to Plathville daughter Moriah Plath learns that her former boyfriend continues to betray her. During Season 4, Episode 6, “Dirty Little Sinners,” more secrets are revealed about Max Kallschmidt‘s ongoing betrayal, and she takes it hard.
Welcome to Plathville: Moriah Plath Discovers More Upsetting Details About Max
Moriah Plath felt that she was finally beginning to make headway. She says in the early days of her split from Max, she wasn’t eating. She spent all her time hiding away and crying.
However, just as she was beginning to see past the pain, she learned Max betrayed her again. She sees that Max released a social media video detailing his side of the break-up.
The main problem is that Moriah says it’s all lies. On Welcome to Plathville, she says Kallschmidt threw her under the bus. The TLC star tells her brother and sister-in-law Ethan and Olivia Plath about the video. She cries when she admits to her family what Max did.
Plath Women Lean On Each Other
Ethan’s very upset by Max’s video. The eldest sibling says he once considered Kallschmidt a brother. But now, he says he hates Moriah’s ex, and says he’s his mortal enemy.
As her big brother comforts her, he says Max never loved her as she loved him. He thinks it is for the best that they ended things when they did before the relationship got more serious.

The Welcome to Plathville diva tells her brother that she wants to tell the family about her ex-boyfriend’s lies and betrayals. Their mom, Kim Plath, comes to Tampa to meet up with her daughter.
And the two have a long heart-to-heart talk. During Moriah’s confessional, she admits that she and her mom bonded. The TLC star says they grew closer. Kim and Moriah Plath agree they’re a lot alike.
They feel that they’re moving forward in their relationship because they are both going through similar situations with men. Moriah says her mother changed a lot. Yet her attitude is not the only thing that continues to change about Kim.
Welcome to Plathville: Family Relationship Changes
Since Kim and her husband Barry Plath separated, she’s made a very noticeable life change. The Welcome to Plathville matriarch’s strict way of life changed considerably.
She reveals she loosened up a lot with herself and the children. Kim also changed how she dresses. She even showed up to meet her daughter sporting a thigh-high mini skirt with a split in the back.

In the past, she’d never allow this style for herself or her girls. So, Kim talks with her daughter and shares that she no longer has feelings for Barry.
On Welcome to Plathville, she says she’s very unhappy and wants out of the marriage. While Moriah says she doesn’t quite understand what happened between her parents, she understands her mom’s feelings.
Moriah and her mom came a long way from where they stood in the past. Kim tells her daughter she’s always there for her. And that no matter what, all she has to do is call — and she will be there.
Moriah Plath admits this is the supportive mother-daughter relationship she always wanted. Are you surprised the two women grew so close during the past year?
