Micah Plath feels he needs to set Welcome to Plathville viewers straight about some very important details concerning his family. Plath believes there are a lot of misconceptions since the Season 4 finale, and he is here to clear the air. Micah wrote out a detailed 5-page letter to the Plath family followers.
Plath’s letter starts with a firm statement. He tells fans that their family is now standing together.
Micah writes, “There is a lot more to the story than what you all have seen on the show.” He explains that the family is aware that it is a TV show. He also wants all to know they do not control how the network edits. Plath says that many events in their lives are not completely explained during the show, and the Plath family would like their viewers to know.
TLC’s Plath Family Feels Misunderstood Per Micah
The Welcome to Plathville reality star continues. He reveals the family would like to clear up something Olivia stated during the season 4 finale. Micah says that when Olivia states that Kim Plath had been using Ethan’s credit card, the full story was not revealed.
Micah states that his brother Ethan and his mom had a business agreement. He adds Ethan made quite a bit of cash during the agreement. While he does not go into further detail about their arrangement, he says that both were aware of all transactions. He also admits that the family is upset that Kim did not get the chance to tell her side of the story.
Micah Plath is not the only sibling sharing the statement on social media. Siblings Moriah Plath, Lydia Plath, and Isaac Plath posted the statement on their social media platforms. However, eldest son Ethan Plath and his wife Olivia are not sharing the statement. This leads many fans to suspect all is not well on the Plath homefront between everyone.

The TLC star then asks viewers to please consider something important. As Micah Plath continues his statement, his protective side comes fiercely out. He makes it clear that some of their siblings are still young and they feel it is unhealthy for them to deal with some of the harsh criticism and judgment. The family asks for compassion and understanding.
