Trevor St. John Hired at ‘General Hospital’ – Recast Jason, Jax, or Jeff?
General Hospital new leaked intel reveals Trevor St. John is joining GH as a cast member. And it seems likely he may replace a long-time character soon on the ABC daytime drama. With two actor exits looming and one legacy character returning, will he step into one of those roles?
Trevor St. John Joins General Hospital Cast
A reliable GH source suggests Trevor St. John was cast on General Hospital. As of yet, nothing is confirmed from Trevor on his IMDB or social media. However, this new info comes from the same trustworthy leaker that said early-on that Ingo Rademacher, who plays Jasper Jacks, is out. He last filmed in late October, per set sources.
We’re still waiting to find out when Trevor St. John began – if he truly is the soap’s latest hire. Now, our source suggests TSJ would debut on General Hospital right before Christmas. If Trevor looks familiar to fans, it might be from his time on One Life to Live as Todd Manning but was actually revealed to be Todd’s twin, Victor Lord. Jr.
The “real” Todd was actually current GH actor Roger Howarth. Plus, Trevor has several films and primetime shows under his belt such as Roswell, The Bourne Ultimatum, Vampire Diaries, and many more. And soon, Trevor may add General Hospital to the list. But who will he play?
Ingo Rademacher Out as Jax on GH
One possibility for Trevor St. John’s General Hospital role may be recast Jasper Jacks. Currently, Ingo Rademacher is in hot water over recent social media posts. However, these posts came after Ingo’s GH exit over the vax mandate. The social media controversy is reportedly not why Ingo is off the susder.
Although Ingo’s social posts caused an uproar, he posted them after he was off the soap. Instead, the reason he’s out is for failure to comply with the new mandate that came into effect on November 1. He wrapped shooting as Jax before that date, weeks before the social post debacle.

On Monday morning, November 8, a week after the vax deadline, Ingo posted a video of himself having coffee in bed with his wife, Ehiku Kaono. The former General Hospital star said that he had nowhere to be and nothing to do. So, at that point, he was confirming subtly that his time on GIH was over.
In late October, the ex-Jax actor was traveling and camping with his family. Given the timing, that was likely after he wrapped his run as Jasper Jacks. Now, showrunners may want to keep the character of Jax on the show. If so, Trevor St. John could very well take on the role. He’s the right age to portray Jax. But, there’s another option on General Hospital…
Is TSJ the New Jason on General Hospital?
Trevor St. John might also be joining the GH cast as the new Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). General Hospital fans may recall Steve is another actor rumored to be out at the ABC soap opera due to the recent vaccine mandate.
Also, there is chatter that Steve Burton might head back over to The Young and the Restless as Dylan McAvoy. Trevor is also the correct age for a Jason recast. So, if Steve does leave General Hospital, Trevor may step in as hitman Jason Morgan. Although they’ve killed Jason off before, he’s got lots of plot lines active, so a recast would make sense.

Yesterday, a source claimed they had confirmation that Burton’s run was done. And Ingo is out for sure. His last airdate as Jax is in just a couple of weeks. So, Trevor may pick up where Ingo left off or step in as Jason. But there’s one more possible casting choice – if TSJ is stepping in as a recast.
Now, Jeff Webber’s (formerly Richard Dean Anderson) heading back to Port Chuck. So, there’s always the chance that Trevor could be the new Jeff on General Hospital. However, he is a bit young for that role. But soaps don’t mind casting actors a decade or so older than their on-screen offspring. So, Jeff Webber is an option.
Soap Dirt will be sure to update you as we learn more. Trevor St. John is the same age as Ingo Rademacher and a year younger than Burton. So, he’d be a fit for recasts of either of their characters.
