The Family Chantel: Pedro Upset with Mom Lidia

Pedro Jimeno is in the Dominican Republic to search for his father. However, before he can meet up with the man, he looks for answers from his mother, Lidia Morel about him. But, when The Family Chantel cast member talks to his mom, he does not get the reaction he was hoping for. The TLC celeb feels that Lidia doesn’t empathize with him, which upsets him. He starts to say that a mother would feel bad for their son. Yet, she doesn’t.

Pedro Jimeno then talks to his wife about the situation with Lidia Morel. The Family Chantel reality star doesn’t know why his mother must be “so cold.” After their conversation with Lidia, Chantel Everett feels “validated” that Pedro’s mom only wanted to use him and her.

TLC’s Pedro Questions Meaning of Love

Pedro Jimeno starts to wonder if he is following in his family’s footsteps. The Family Chantel castmate says that his grandmother took advantage of his grandfather, and his mother did the same to his father. So, he questions if he is taking advantage of his wife.

However, Chantel Everett doesn’t believe that is the case. The Family Chantel celeb asks Pedro if he loved her when they got married. He says, “yes.” And that’s what she feels is the difference between him and his mother. Pedro knew that he was in love with his wife. Whereas Lidia Morel tells them that she doesn’t think she loved the TLC star’s father when she was with him.

Pedro Jimeno doesn’t know what to think of the situation. So, he starts questioning his marriage to Chantel Everett. The Family Chantel TLC celeb feels that he could have been raised to marry someone and take advantage of them. And that means using that person.

The Family Chantel Celeb Being Used by Mom & Sister?

Chantel Everett realizes that Pedro Jimeno is wondering if he has been taking advantage of her subconsciously. She doesn’t believe he is. However, The Family Chantel castmate does think that if he didn’t marry her, he wouldn’t have come to America. She feels that his family told him he must get to the US.

However, The Family Chantel reality star did fear that Pedro was using her in the beginning. But, Chantel Everett doesn’t feel that it would have been his idea to do that. She believes that his mom and sister would have liked him to marry her even if he didn’t love her. Yet, she doesn’t feel that the TLC star has taken advantage of her.

It also worries Chantel Everett that her husband doesn’t see that his mother and sister are trying to use him. She would like Pedro Jimeno to acknowledge that, but she feels that it’s hard for him to do it.
