‘Teen Mom’: Devoin Austin Reveals Addiction Problem

Teen Mom cast member Devoin Austin reveals he is battling an addiction problem. The ex-boyfriend and baby daddy of Briana DeJesus‘s daughter Nova DeJesus states he is screaming for help. Austin shared his struggles with his social media followers over the weekend.

Teen Mom: Devoin Austin Admits the Problem Is Real

Devoin Auston reveals that he has done something pretty serious. The Teen Mom television personality shares that on his 30th birthday, he went to a casino. He continues to say because of his poor choices.

He is also in a bad state. However, the celebration quickly took a wrong turn for Austin. A turn he describes as so severe he is not sure how he will recover from the damage.

TM2 viewers know that Devoin is the father of star Briana DeJesus’ oldest daughter. MTV fans know that things between the two exes have not always been the best.

In the past, Briana and Devoin have undergone many issues regarding raising their daughter. In earlier seasons, DeJesus often called out Austin for lack of support and for not spending time with their daughter.

However, in the past years or so, Austin turned his life around when it comes to his parenting skills. Things between him and the Teen Mom star Briana have been going fairly smoothly.

That is until now. Austin reveals he is in a wrong place. Because he admits to losing during the gambling trip, ultimately, he says he feels at his lowest. He states that things are horrible and realizes he needs help.

Devoin Austin wrote, “I am a gambling addict, and I finally lost more than I can cope with to the casino. I’m screaming for help. I don’t know what to do. I’m scared for myself. I just got to admit that to ya’ll. Sorry, I let you guys down.”

Teen Mom star Briana DeJesus’ followers say they are concerned about Devoin’s current state of mind. They say he sounds very desperate. Austin went on to say that he is very sad and doesn’t believe he will recover from his mistakes and the troubles he now finds himself in.

Austin’s post was shared on Reddit, and users of the site say they believe that he needs professional help. One Redditor offered the MTV TM2 personality words of encouragement, writing, “You can never go too far that you can’t come back home, Devoin. I’m rooting for you.

Another says, “Good for him being open and honest. I hope he can get the help he needs, and this doesn’t affect his relationship with Nova.”

This is not the first time the Teen Mom co-parent has asked for assistance. In June, Austin spoke on social media, saying, “I need help. Mentally. Spiritually.”

The reality television star also took to social media in May, leaving another concerning post. “Count on MTV to do some unprofessional s**t. Play with yo b****. Play with yo mama, but don’t play with me.”

Followers reveal they are not clear on the meaning behind Austin’s message. All they can tell is the 30-year-old is going through some things that make him unhappy. As a result, some fans feel that he could be excluded from the new Teen Mom franchise series and could be struggling financially.

So far, at this time, TM2 star Briana is not commenting publicly about Austin’s problems. However, because of their history, some feel DeJesus will likely not react kindly to the current situation.
