It has not been an easy time for Portwood, especially when it comes to getting along with her the fathers of her children.

Amber Portwood is vocal and honest when it comes to discussing her issues. However, her recent post has her Teen Mom fans wondering if she may have quit the MTV reality series once and for all?
This past year has been particularly stressful due to her ongoing custody battle with her ex and son’s father, Andrew Glennon.
In 2019, Glennon was primary physical custody of their son James following Amber’s arrest for domestic violence. Portwood is fighting the courts and Glennon for equal shared custody of James.
Earlier this year, Andrew Glennon began expressing his concerns about Amber’s past history with drugs. Glennon then demanded that the courts order Portwood to take a hair follicle test. Amber responded to the court, denying all accusations of drug use.
The Teen Mom star Amber Portwood also states that she must submit to drug testing and has never failed a test since she is currently on probation.
However, the drama and battle between Amber and Andrew continue. So, this is leading fans to believe that Amber may be over not only the drama with her exes but also from the reality series.
MTV Star Looking to Live a Peaceful Life
Amber’s post claims in a very zen-like manner that she is opening new chapters and writing her future. When referring to those new chapters, fans believe she may be talking about life after television. and with her children.
Amber revealed that she is all about positivity over the past several months and wants to live a peaceful and productive life with her children, Leah, 13, and James, 3.
The post may also respond to a recent post revealing the possibility of MTV canceling both Teen Mom OG and Teen Mom 2.
The reality collab is due to costs and low ratings for both reality series. Rumors claim should the decision be made, MTV execs will choose from the ten TV moms to form one show.
Teen Mom: Amber One Step Ahead of the Changes to the Show?
If the rumors are accurate, some of the Teen Mom stars may be out of a job very soon. Portwood could be opting to leave before the alleged firings take place.
