‘Sister Wives’: Fans Call Kody ‘Vile’ for Ignoring Crying Gabriel

Sister Wives star Kody Brown puts Gabriel Brown in tears with fans seeing these scenes as “vile.” This father’s words during these heartbreaking scenes with Gabriel will live in infamy. He’s not going to live this down for the Sister Wives viewers. Most likely not for his family as well.

Sister Wives: Kody Brown Rips at Gabriel Brown

Gabriel, 21, is the son of Kody and Janelle Brown. Gabriel argues his way through Kody’s over-the-top COVID rules. He believes it’s no longer about the rules for his Sister Wives dad, it’s about being right.

From where Gabriel sits, he sees his father demanding too much. He expects his Sister Wives family members to “drop what they’re doing”. In turn, this lets Kody “mosey wherever he wants.” Sure, that works for Kody but what about everyone else?

The angry son tells his father that the rest of the family is “not down” for this. He also points out that his father created a new Sister Wives culture to suit himself. But he also blames this on Robyn Brown who Gabriel claims “is in his ear.”

So, he lets his father know that they plan on “ignoring” him” and “having a life anyway.” From the smirk on his brother Garrison’s face, it appears he agrees with Gabe.

Kody Deems Robyn Brown ‘Obedient Wife’

Kody Brown sticks up for Robyn Brown as Gabriel throws verbal lashes. His father claims she’s his “obedient wife.” Robyn is following all his rules without giving him the hassles he gets from two of his other wives. So, he tries to sell her as the only one who lets him be the head of her household.

Christine Brown spoke to that in a different scene. She said she is the head of her household. Kody’s not around enough to take that job. Janelle said she learned a long time ago not to make Kody the center of her world.

But calling your wife “obedient” was a turnoff for Sister Wives viewers. So, the comments piled up from the fans condemning this father from Sister Wives. But most of the bashing aimed at this father stems from his treatment of his son, Gabriel.

The Sister Wives papa can’t get his son to back down. So, he plays a different card. He asks Gabriel if Janelle gets sick, who is going to care for her. It looked like the Sister Wives’ father of 18 got a response he didn’t expect.

Both her boys, who are outside with Kody Brown, jumped at the chance to say they would. Gabe says “us” and then Garrison says he’d “freaking quit his job” to do it. Kody heard another example of why he isn’t needed, and this seemed to do him in.  His Sister Wives’ son was getting the best of him. Although the determined Gabe heard some awful stuff. This includes his father putting his mother down.

Sister Wives: Gabriel Won’t Back Down

Kody Brown tried to tell Gabriel Brown that Robyn and her kids are following the rules. But this son from Sister Wives said her kids “are prisoners”. No, Kody calls that “compliant.”

Kody thinks someone is poisoning these kids by putting this Robyn stuff in their minds. Then he suggests “it might be their mother.” Kody Brown was brutal to his son Gabe. So, fans made sure to have their say over his behavior.

The Sister Wives patriarch tells his son that it’s a narrative handed to him. One that says dad doesn’t care about you. This is right after he claims he won’t throw the wives under the bus.

So, what comes out of this – no Christmas for the family, which Kody Brown blames on Christine Brown and Janelle. Next, Gabriel is in tears during this Sister Wives scene. This upset son then says he’s put so much effort into making a relationship with his dad through all this.

He says it’s hard when you’ve dedicated several months trying to reach out to someone (his father). But then not to have it reciprocated is sad.
