‘Sister Wives’: Kody Shades Christine Over Bedroom Roadblock – Blame Game Heats up
Sister Wives stars Kody Brown and Christine Brown both stated their sides in the breakup into the show’s camera. Despite how horrible it sounded for Christine, it’s certain Kody gave fans some food for thought.
This may go back to that old saying, “it takes two to tango” as their sides of the story seem to be polar opposites. Christine won’t live in a marriage without intimacy. Yet Kody says she gave him a reason for the lack of bedroom activity. He also claims it was Christine who decided that her bedroom was off-limits to her husband.
Sister Wives: Christine Brown States Her Side
For the past week fans of the TLC, series saw clips of Christine sharing her reason for leaving Kody. Then when the show aired Sunday night, she elaborated on those reasons. Christine Brown said his decision for no intimacy with her is what made up her mind to leave.
She said he told her he wasn’t interested in intimacy with her. This devasted Christine. She painted a picture of him treating her more like a friend while his romance went to another wife.

But Christine Brown also admitted to jealousy. The kind of jealousy you can’t have in a plural marriage. She was jealous of the other wives spending bedroom time with the shared husband.
Still, Kody Brown had his say on Sunday night’s Sister Wives also. After that, some viewers saw things in another light. From where her husband stands, wife number three bucked his system for years. Like with the big house debacle. She was the roadblock to that living arrangement.
Kody Brown Takes a Turn on TLC
In previews, Kody Brown didn’t appear in any lengthy clips that showed his perspective. Instead, TLC promos showed the dad of 18 shocked about his stuff packed up in the garage.
But other than him taking inventory in these clips, all fans got out of it was that he’s stunned. Then he told his side of his relationship failure with Christine Brown.
Next, a few eyebrows raised as Sister Wives showed Kody explaining that he felt betrayed. He claims Christine Brown repeatedly confided in all the other wives about her unhappiness.
He also said that over the last few years, she told her co-wives and some of their adult kids that she may leave him. Kody Brown claimed she told everyone in the extended Brown family — except him. So, he felt she betrayed him. This left him not wanting to initiate romance with his soon-to-be-ex third wife.
Sister Wives: Is Kody Right — or Christine — or Somewhere in Between?
These two don’t see things in the same way. For instance, Christine heard her husband say that he knows other couples married without intimacy. Plus, she said this was his plan for their marriage going forward. So, she was hurt and insulted by this suggestion.

But Kody said that that’s what he said in response to her telling him to stay out of her bedroom. He thought that this might be only a phase that she was going through. That’s when he said other couples do it. He asserts that he was reassuring them both that it’s not a reason to end a marriage.
So, if that is the way she wanted things, he was willing to comply. But he was sure to say it was solely her decision that her bedroom was off-limits to him. So, both agreed that Kody Brown said this. But they seem to read that differently. Clearly, the communication is way off as they play the blame game.
