‘Sister Wives’: Kody Frantic to Keep Christine on Wife List?

Sister Wives star Kody Brown devises an odd plan to keep Christine Brown as his wife once he realizes how serious she is about leaving. While Christine now lives in Utah and considers herself divorced, this season fans see what led up to this.

Sister Wives: This Plan Works for Kody Brown

As Kody Brown sees all four Sister Wives’ relationships becoming more fragmented, he offers another option for his discontented wives. He claims that since Robyn Brown and Janelle Brown like Flagstaff they could stay there.

Sister Wives: Kody Brown - Christine Brown

Then he points out how Christine Brown wants to move back to Utah and that’s fine with him. Under his new plan that is. So, when it comes to Meri Brown, she too can move to Utah to her B&B if she wants.

This plan works across the board for all wives as far as he is concerned. You see, they can live far away from him like Christine plans to do. But Kody Brown wants them to stay in their Sister Wives’ marriages to him.

Kody goes on to say that he has friends with wives in different states. While Kody might see this as having the best of both worlds, none of the Sister Wives do.

TLC: Not Optional for Christine Brown

While this season is far from the beginning of the discontented Sister Wives, it is the beginning of the end of Christine’s marriage. Fans know she’s in Utah today. So now you get to see how this transpired.

It appears Kody Brown is not okay with losing any wives. So he concocts the idea of letting each Sister Wives mom live where they want to.

Christine Brown’s plan is a move to Utah with a divorce and it appears there’s no changing her mind. Meri Brown described her marriage to her Sister Wives shared husband as almost non-existent. So, if she moved to her B&B, the distance won’t do a thing to fix that.

Kody also said once again that he and Meri get along today. But he doesn’t desire his first wife romantically. So, Meri doesn’t see how putting hours of road between her and this shared husband could help fix her broken marriage. She sounds as if she’s still invested in rekindling the flame.

Janelle Brown thinks Kody’s odd idea takes away from what the principle of a family is built on. Kody always wanted to move back to Utah as well. Then there’s Robyn who said, she doesn’t like the idea of Kody moving. But where her Sister Wives husband goes, she’ll follow.

Sister Wives: Kody Can’t Put Christine on Long-Distance Roster

It sounds as if this conversation for Kody starts when he feels Christine is dead serious about moving to Utah. It looks as if a move wouldn’t be so bad for Kody. But that’s only if Christine Brown agrees to continue as one of this husband’s Sister Wives.

But Christine, who appears angry at even the thought of a long-distance marriage, shoots Kody’s new idea out of the water. It’s not going to happen.

While this goes on during episodes from this new season, fans already know that Christine followed through on her move. She’s left him and relocated. The third wife of this polygamous hubby also refers to herself as “divorced.”

Soap Dirt reminds Sister Wives viewers that the show picks up only two weeks after the last season ended. So, the episodes were filmed months ago. Kody appeared to concoct this plan for keeping his marriages intact. But at the same time, he’ll allow his wives to live strewn across different states.

It seems Kody Brown came up with this because he was desperate not to lose Christine Brown as one of his Sister Wives. But since he went this far, fans wonder if he will eventually try to win her back.
