‘Sister Wives’: Kody Brown Gripes He’s Manipulated But Never Scripted In Scenes

Sister Wives celeb Kody Brown looks as if he’s not about to let things go after his recent post appears to come with a hidden agenda. Some fans of the TLC show believe that the episodes seemed scripted this season.

Kody Brown’s wife, Janelle Brown, addressed that with the Sister Wives viewers online not too long ago. She assured those watching their reality series that the episodes capture what really happens and there’s no script involved.

Sister Wives: Kody Brown Claims – No Script

While Janelle is probably the one wife that many fans find extremely genuine, they still think there’s too much evidence that the family follows a script. So, now Kody Brown addresses the rumors of a scripted show. He claims no scripts, but instead he sees himself as manipulated in Sister Wives.

Kody’s anger continued to build through the episodes of this season’s Sister Wives. He aimed his anger at all but one of his wives. That “manipulated” jab sounded like he aimed it at Meri Brown. Kody Brown already claimed she manipulated him into their marriage.

Kody was furious at Robyn Brown, Christine Brown, and Meri Brown during Sister Wives Season 14. It seems Janelle Brown didn’t feel the wrath of Kody Brown. But she looked fed up with him at times just as much as the other wives did who were in his scope of anger.

Playing the Victim?

From where the viewers sat, Kody Brown did a good job of playing the victim this season on Sister Wives. He also really fine-tuned another skill as well. He has the knack of making the issues other people experience all about him. One recent case in point occurred in the Sister Wives’ last episode. First, Janelle Brown looked exhausted after helping Maddie Brown Brush through her labor pains.

Then Kody Brown arrives in North Carolina looking fresh and rested and joins Janelle who is waiting for the baby to come. To set the scene, Maddie is in the late stages of labor and in pain and Janelle is overwhelmed and exhausted. But Kody listens for a moment to Janelle explaining Maddie’s long labor and then he tells Janelle he’s feeling sick from the stress he is under. Really?

Janelle’s facial features lined up just right to show the Sister Wives audience just what she was thinking. But Janelle somehow skirted his anger this season. Although Meri, Christine, and Robyn got their fair share.

Kody Brown was still mad at Christine as the season closed for her part in nixing the big house plans he had. Kody was angry and fed up with Robyn’s insistence on not buying a house while rentals were just nowhere to be found. But quite possibly it’s Meri Brown who stumbled into the mother lode of his Sister Wives anger this season.

Sister Wives Star Kody Brown – Manipulated or Manipulator?

Kody Brown belittled Meri and their 25-year-plus marriage on national television. He said he didn’t know who he was marrying at the time. He also claimed the only reason he hasn’t left her is out of moral obligation to Meri. It seems Meri Brown won’t leave Kody because it means she’ll end up leaving her Sister Wives family.

Fans shared their disappointment when Meri didn’t get up and leave after Kody suggested she manipulated him into marriage. This happened while they were in the therapist’s office.

So when Kody Brown posts to social media that the show’s not scripted, fans find that hard to believe. But his jab about the show not scripted but manipulated really rings true with fans. But that’s because the fans see Kody as the person doing the manipulation, not his wives.

Sunday night’s show was the season finale of season 14 of Sister Wives. While the word finale was never mentioned in the promos, Kody, Christine, and Janelle sounded like the finale played out Sunday night.

They posted their thanks, along with words that suggest so-long for now to the fans. Kody hopes the fans see the Sister Wives family soon. But he said nothing about another season – Season 15. So, maybe they find themselves waiting for the new season nod as well.
