‘Sister Wives’: Christine Leaves Truely Shocked by Parents’ Split
Sister Wives’ Christine Brown hasn’t told her youngest daughter about her split from Kody Brown. That’s a problem since most of the rest of the family, including Truely Brown‘s older siblings, all know. Unfortunately, before she could sit her down, her daughter heard something that sent her into a tailspin on the TLC show.

Sister Wives: Christine Brown Shocks Truely Brown
Christine from Sister Wives recounts the heartbreaking moment she was forced to tell her youngest daughter, Truely Brown, the news of her split from her father. Christine Brown initially planned to sit down and talk to her with Kody.
Unfortunately, things did not go as planned. The 12-year-old overheard her mom on the phone discussing her upcoming move to Utah. That stunned her daughter, And it left her with no choice but to reveal the truth about the state of her marriage.

Sister Wives mom Christine recalls the heartbroken look on her daughter’s face when she told her they’re moving to Utah. She adds that, at first, her daughter thought the whole family would be making a move together. So, the conversation got worse.
Sister Wives: Truely Brown Cries For Hours
Then, Christine Brown tells her daughter it will just be the two of them moving. And that hit Truely hard. So, Christine from Sister Wives calls the discussion with her daughter the “worst conversation ever.”
She says her daughter asked if she and her dad were getting a divorce. Then, she was forced to admit to the little girl that they had already divorced, which upset her even more.
Christine also says after telling her the news, her daughter went off to her room alone and cried for hours. She adds she feels like a “cruddy mom” for causing her daughter so much pain. But she knows in the long run, all this will find them both in a better place.
TLC’s Sister Wives’ Kody Feels Betrayed
Sister Wives patriarch Kody Brown is upset that Christine broke the news to their daughter without him. He feels that it was her way of continuing to control their split. He doesn’t like how his ex handled things from the start.
But she says Kody was in no hurry to end their marriage or tell the children, especially Truely. Since the couple’s marriage was never legal, there are no court proceedings to end the marriage.
So, Christine picked a day to decide their marriage was completely and officially over. Kody says he has not been on board with how she has gone about their split including packing him out of her house without warning.
He is distraught over Christine telling Truely without him. TLC Sister Wives fans know that he has control issues. And Papa Brown likes to be the one who is in charge. So, this does not come as a huge surprise that he is not taking the split too well.
Kody says one thing really bothers him. And that’s him feeling that since Christine spends more time with the former couple’s children, she has an unfair advantage over him. Especially when talking to them about their divorce.
