Sister Wives: Amos Coming for Meri’s Money?

Sister Wives star Meri Brown introduced fans to her new guy, Amos Andrews, last week, and he seems to make her ecstatically happy. But now in a new report, it looks like one of his ex-wives paints a rather awful portrait of the TLC celebrity’s new boyfriend.

Sister Wives: Meri Brown Puts Amos Andrews In Spotlight

Meri Brown thrust her new boyfriend Amos Andrews into the public arena last week when she introduced her new love interest via a social media post to the followers of her TLC series. Then she introduced him in person on Friday with Friends.

But like anybody in the public eye, he’s now jumped into a fishbowl life with Sister Wives fans closely observing him. He sat there for almost an hour as both Meri and her BFF Jenn Sullivan grilled him on Friday’s live online venue.

He came off to fans as a mellow guy. Plus, He also appeared to be a good sport. Especially as the two best friends carried out their antics on the show. But now one of his four ex-wives accuses him of some rather nasty stuff.

Meri Brown On the Defense

Having a man all her own seems to put Sister Wives celeb Meri Brown in a happy place these days. She’s so over-the-top excited that she did something she rarely does for herself during her most recent online show.

The former first wife of the Sister Wives clan addressed rumors, which she rarely does. But these rumors concerned her new man, Amos Andrews. The headlines blared about Meri Brown’s new boyfriend, and how he had been married four times and claimed bankruptcy.

But once her new man filled in the details, this seemed nothing more than some very mundane info about the guy. This original matriarch of the Sister Wives clan addressed that last Friday online, with Amos sitting right next to her. He answered questions from her best friend, Jenn Sullivan, in this very loose interview.

The facts according to Amos… he was divorced three times and his bankruptcy was 25 years ago. Meri normalized this by saying she has three ex-sister wives.  Plus, she too claimed bankruptcy around the same time as he did. So, it seemed as if a mission to find dirt failed. But that was just the tip of the iceberg, now that an ex-wife surfaced.

So, a few reports reveal four divorce documents filed for Amos Andrews. Plus, another new report claims court documents indicate that he also failed on child support payments to one ex-wife. So, some Sister Wives fans are concerned for Meri’s sake. But there’s more…

Sister Wives: Is Meri a Bit Overpowering?

It became obvious to the Sister Wives fans that Meri’s new beau had no idea what to expect when showing up on this Friday with Friends venue. He looked lost a few times.

It was like he didn’t know where to put himself, as his new girlfriend and BFF became silly. But this is their normal behavior. They usually get somewhat giddy when showing up online most Friday nights.

Sister Wives fans thought it might be too much for him. Meri seemed to call all the shots. She even discussed “the bases” they’ve gotten to so far.

The Sister Wives celebrity then suggests there’s “potential” for a home run. He sat semi-quietly as Jenn and Meri threw questions his way.

Using Amos?

But it was easy to see Meri Brown had the reins. Even when Amos Andrews didn’t seem to understand what Meri and Jenn were talking about, he went along with it anyway.

She used him at one point to throw a dig at a scene between Kody Brown and Robyn Brown on the Sister Wives show last season.

She did the same thing to her new boyfriend, that Robyn did to Kody. But in this case, he looked more stunned at what was going on, considering he was already too quiet.

Some fans were surprised he continued to sit there and look rather complacent. But he did, and if you listen to what one of his ex-wives has to say today, it might explain why.

Sister Wives: One of Amos’ Ex-Wives Speaks Out

Now that Amos Andrews’ face is affiliated with Sister Wives and plastered all over the online world, someone once close to him speaks out, one of his ex-wives.

According to this report, Amos Andrews set his sights on Meri long before ever meeting her. But the Sister Wives celeb clearly stated on Friday that she pursued him.

The ex-wife, who wanted to remain anonymous, said that Amos is “narcissistic,” “controlling,” and an “opportunist.” She also suggested that he sees easy money in this relationship with the Sister Wives celebrity.

This unnamed ex-wife said she lived in Vegas with Amos when they were married. She claimed he watched the Sister Wives show, so he knew who Meri was.

Plus, she adds that when he was her husband, he had numerous jobs, and it seems no one is quite sure what he does for work today. This ex also said that he was dating another woman before he started to date the TLC star, but the timeline between the two is unknown.

Privacy Issues?

This woman also said Amos had infatuations with other reality stars as well, not just this Sister Wives star. So, now that this Sister Wives celeb has introduced Amos to the world, it looks like this opened the floodgates for naysayers.

Plus, you may want to take into consideration that this unnamed woman wants to remain unknown for her privacy. Yet, she doesn’t seem to think too much about Amos’ privacy.

So, today, two camps have formed around Meri Brown. One camp demands that the critics leave her alone and stop trying to find dirt on her new man. While another camp worries that she may make the same mistake today that she has in the past.

The latter camp of Sister Wives fans are concerned. They remind other fans that Meri Brown lived 30-plus years as the wife of a narcissistic man.

They also recall how she fell for that catfish event in the past. Now they worry she could be repeating history, the same history Sister Wives fans watched unfold on her TLC series.
