‘Seeking Sister Wife’: Roberta Cashes In & Bails on Garrick & Dannielle
Garrick Merrifield and his wife, Dannielle Merrifield, are having a tough time coping with the events of the Season 4 finale of Seeking Sister Wife. The couple felt all through the season that their plans were finally starting to come together.
They were confident that their chosen partner Roberta Rodrigues, would soon be joining them in Colorado. But things quickly fell apart.
Seeking Sister Wife: Roberta & Garrick Merrifield Seal the Deal
Dannielle and Garrick have more than three years invested in courting, convincing, and financing Roberta Rodrigues.
During their recent trip to Brazil, she went out of her way to assure Garrick and Dannielle that all was good. She told the Seeking Sister Wife couple that soon she would arrive in America, and they would all be together.

During Merrifield’s trip to Brazil to lock down all the final details of her upcoming trip to Colorado, Garrick finally got his wish.
He and Bert spent a hot and steamy night together while Dannielle stayed alone at the hotel. Everything seemed perfect. So, the couple left Brazil and headed home to ready their home for her arrival.
TLC Couple Scammed by Roberta?
Things immediately changed between the Seeking Sister Wife stars Roberta, Dannielle, and Garrick. This coincides with the Merrifield’s forking out the cash to visit her in Brazil and wiring her $10k to help with her family and travel expenses.
Rodrigues quickly unfollowed the couple on social media. Soon everything became crystal clear. Roberta was not coming to the United States, and she wanted nothing more to do with the TLC reality stars.
The dramatic Season 4 finale opens with Dannielle crying uncontrollably after learning that Berta had betrayed them. She is very troubled and takes the news about her not coming personally.
The ditched polygamy partner says she does not understand how Berta could do such a thing after claiming to be her sister. She screams she knew it and says Roberta Rodrigues never loved her.
Garrick is also feeling heartbroken. He reveals he feels like he and Roberta are having a spiritual divorce. Later, he and Dannielle were seen removing her personal belongings from the “sister room” that she would have shared with Rodrigues.
Danielle is feeling very salty over Bert’s betrayal. She states, “I got a divorced for her, and she won’t even come here.” Then, she breakdown again and adds, “She won’t even face us after three-and-half years.”
Seeking Sister Wife: Dannielle & Garrick’s Mixed Reaction to Farewell Text
It is not enough for Dannielle’s mom to know her daughter and husband are brokenhearted by the situation. She can’t help but throw in her two cents and a reminder that she warned them.
Later in the finale, the couple sits down to read together Rodrigues’ final correspondence with them. The farewell text attempts to explain her thoughts on ending their relationship.
The Seeking Sister Wife star states that she knows that she has broken her promise to them. However, she tries to explain that she tried to keep her word.
Roberta Rodrigues says she can’t feel the same as before. She blames her change of heart on Garrick’s encounter with Lea. She states that Garrick’s interest in Lea left her feeling humiliated and excluded.
“After that day, I just kept feeling everything we had that was most beautiful, special, and pure has a broken piece, and it is hurting too much.”
She adds that she felt maybe for them, it may seem like something easy to go through, but in her culture, it is not. She ends the text by saying she is sorry they are all sad.
