OutDaughtered stars Adam Busby and Danielle Busby have a fuller house than usual after the hurricane. They’re used to having six daughters to entertain. However, Hurricane Laura destroyed their hometown of Lake Charles, Louisiana. So now the Busbys are hosting Adam’s parents, sister, and four nieces. Certainly, it’s tighter quarters now with ten very active little girls running around. Here’s the latest on how the Busbys and their family is dealing with the aftermath of hurricane Laura.
OutDaughtered: Adam Busby & Danielle Host Evacuees
OutDaughtered celebs Danielle Busby and her husband Adam are doing all they can to help out the people of Adam and wife Danielle’s hometown. Hurricane Laura decimated the town where Danielle and Adam grew up. It will take months before basic utilities are restored, and the town is inhabitable.
Thankfully the OutDaughtered family’s Texas home was relatively unaffected by the storm. So, they are in a position to help put a roof over their family’s heads until they can safely return to Louisana. The governor advised evacuees who are sheltering in Texas to stay there until further notice. So it looks like cramped quarters at Casa Busby—likely through the end of the year.
Girl Party Every Day
It’s girls everywhere now for OutDaughtered parents Adam and Danielle Busby. In addition to their six-pack of girls, now, four of their nieces are living with them. So that’s a party of ten active little ladies. However, there’s a lot of adult supervision as well. Blayke Busby and the quints are loving the nonstop girl time with their cousins.
It’s certainly a challenge keeping so many kids entertained. Thankfully the Busby’s have a huge yard with lots of fun things to pass the time. Of course, there’s plenty of pool time for the girls. Plus, the swing set, trampoline, and space to run. The girls will no doubt have a blast while the adults deal with the next steps of rebuilding.
OutDaughtered: Danielle Busby & Ashley Mowbray Give Back
OutDaughtered personality Danielle Busby and her sister Ashley Mowbray are doing all they can to help their hometown recover. Fans don’t see Ashley much on the TLC series, but she is a big part of Danielle’s life. Ashley owns a hair salon in Texas. Often she uses that location as ground zero for many of her charitable efforts for the community. These days Heist Hair Bar is the drop-off point for collections for Hurricane Laura’s victims and survivors in Louisiana.
Danielle says that sadly the news media isn’t covering the situation. So she and her sister are helping out. Of course, this project is deeply personal to the sisters. Recall their mom Michelle “Mimi” Theriot lost everything during Hurricane Harvey. So they understand first hand how horrible a hurricane is to families.
