My Big Fat Fabulous Life: Whitney Thore Takes Glenn Thore to His Home

Whitney Thore has been caring for her father, Glenn Thore, since his wife, Babs Thore’s passing. She moved her father into her home since he wasn’t ready to return to the house he lived in with Babs.

However, months after Babs’ passing, the My Big Fat Fabulous Life reality star feels it is time for her father to step back into his home. She had cleaned it all out of her mother’s belongings. But kept a lot of the furniture and decorations behind.

Glenn never thought the day would come when he would have to walk into his house without Babs. When he walks into the kitchen, he can’t help but remember all the memories he had with his wife. He sees the empty closet and tells his daughter he wishes she would’ve left some of her mother’s stuff in it.

The TLC celeb finds walking through the house a “strange and painful” feeling. He feels that the house feels “lifeless” without his wife. It’s hard for him to be there because everything there is a trigger.

Whitney Throws Glenn Surprise Party

Whitney throws a surprise Babs-themed surprise party for Glenn. She has everyone come dressed up as their favorite Babs’ moment. She even found her mother’s recipes. So, she also has everyone pick one of the recipes to make for the party.

The My Big Fat Fabulous Life cast member’s face lights up when he sees everyone at the surprise party. However, the party isn’t the only surprise. Glenn also gets a gift from his daughter. Whitney gets her dad a body pillow with her mother’s picture on it. She also gets him a sheep with a recording of her mother’s voice in it.

The TLC star is “happily surprised” to see everyone at the party. It is a memory he will cherish forever. But did Whitney push him too far?

However, Glenn recently spoke out about the surprise Babs’ party. The My Big Fat Fabulous Life cast member admits that his life without his wife has been “really difficult.” He explains their love for each other was “one of a kind.” He says that her passing caused him “unimaginable grief.”

But Whitney’s surprise party with her friend was “a very wonderful evening” for The TLC star. He feels that he needed it. Remembering how special Babs was will never leave his thoughts.
