Days of our Lives is off the air for the Winter Olympics until February 21, but not to worry. The Sami Brady and Lucas Horton actors are teasing fans on YouTube. New exclusive content is now available on the soap’s official video channel.
Days of our Lives Closes App – Moves to YouTube
Recently, Corday Productions announced the end of their mobile app for DOOL. However, as of February 1, they’re streaming new content on its official YouTube channel.
The app had been going strong for three years. But many international watchers couldn’t access it. So, the production company decided to move all the goodies to YouTube. So, all viewers can finally join in on the fun.
Eric Martsolf, who plays Brady Black on the show reported the news in a video on January 27. He revealed all the archives will be viewable as well as new clips and sneak peeks.
This month marks the first time many can enjoy a large collection of podcasts. In addition, a plethora of short clips await fans. This should keep us going during the Olympics preemptions for the next two weeks.
All this is available soon on the social media video platform. We can expect to get our fix of the soap extras on a weekly basis from here on out.
Enjoy a Beer with DOOL Star Eric Martsolf
The switchover includes a brand-new video starring Eric Martsolf. He’s hanging out on the Brady Pub set. While his character Brady Black lives a sober lifestyle, the actor sits down with a cold brew.
He is ready to start the Q & A session. Of course, the first question delves into his acting career. And his time in musical theater. Eric’s first appearance on Days of our Lives was on May 19, 1992.
To date, the talented actor has over 1800 episodes under his belt. Plus, he has extensive filmography outside daytime television. The sexy 50-year-old goes into how he began his journey as a young man.

New February Days of our Lives Teaser Features Hot Love Triangle
Another, new short recently added to the channel’s playlists is a cute clip of a longtime rivalry. Both Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) give their hearts to Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney).
Lucas is the first to smooch Sami. Then, his rival gives it a go. The fight for Sami Brady is far from over. Right now, she’s with Lucas Horton. And EJ’s behind bars.
Who wins Sami’s hand for good? And Sami still thinks EJ is the one who kidnapped her. However, it was really Lucas. The secret frame job Lucas did comes to light sooner or later. And Sami will be furious.
Watch out for Hurricane Sami Brady to return when the daytime drama returns to NBC later this month. We can’t wait to see if Sami stays with Lucas. Or if Sami breaks Lucas’ heart and runs back to her hubby.
The soap world has been buzzing with excitement over the coming content to YouTube. And some fans may be disappointed that they need to delete the DOOLApp.
But most are excited about this launch. Plus, now there are more DOOL videos and highlights to pursue. In no time, the show will resume again on Monday, February 21.
