‘Married at First Sight’ Spoilers: AJ Snaps at Wife Stephanie Sersen Again – Will His Temper Lead to Divorce?
Married at First Sight couple AJ Vollmoeller and wife Stephanie Sersen were one of the strongest couples from the start. When Season 8 began, they were the early favorites and the couple that everyone else wanted to model themselves after in terms of relationship goals. Having said that, a lingering issue is that AJ has always had a temper. Will it cost him his marriage?
Married at First Sight Spoilers: AJ Vollmoeller Has Short Fuse
For the most part, things have gone well for this couple. Married at First Sight spoilers have shown the one crux in their relationship is AJ’s temper. He snaps when he doesn’t get his way. As the CEO of a staffing company, it’s likely that he’s used to calling all the shots and getting his way. When things don’t turn out like he hopes, he has a tendency to lash out.
As far as Married at First Sight viewers go, AJ definitely rubs some viewers the wrong way. He has a tendency to talk a lot, and his big personality is seen as a turn off – and even a bit creepy. It’s possible that the fact that Decision Day is fast approaching gets under AJ’s skin and he takes his frustration out on wife Stephanie Sersen as a result.
MAFS: Does Stephanie Sersen Throw in the Towel?
A Married at First Sight spoiler clip from Radar Online shows Stephanie Sersen and AJ Vollmoeller sitting down with Dr Jessica Griffin. They discuss key points in their relationship thus far. At this point in the show, the couples just celebrated their one-month anniversary. AJ tells Dr Jessica that there haven’t been “frustrations” within the marriage.
AJ Vollmoeller blames production for the added stress they put on the couple’s marriage. He even called it “disgusting”. From his perspective, any problems they have as a couple are the result of outside forces.
Dr Jessica acknowledges that documenting a marriage for television can be stressful. At the same time, she doesn’t want AJ Vollmoeller taking his frustration with production out on wife Stephanie Sersen. She also notes that couples can make production the easy scapegoat. In those instances, they may sweep actual marital issues under the rug. Dr Jessica wants to make sure that things can transition smoothly once the cameras leave.

Married at First Sight: Stephanie Can’t Get a Word In
Dr. Jessica shifts her focus to Stephanie Sersen. She asks her how she handles things when AJ Vollmoeller loses his cool. Before she can get a word in, AJ pipes up and redirects the conversation his way. It seems AJ has a hard time giving up control and letting others share their perspective.
This side of him rears its ugly head every once in a while. If it continues to be a problem, it’ll be interesting to watch if Stephanie eventually throws in the towel. So far, she’s managed to roll with the punches, but it may only be a matter of time before enough is enough.
