Married at First Sight kicks off Season 16 in Nashville, Tennessee. Five new couples are ready to say “I do” to strangers. But as usual it’s a long and sometimes crazy road to decision day. Are red flags already flying? Let’s take a closer look at the new couples.

Kirsten Grimes is ready to settle down and have kids. She confides in her friends that she will soon be Married at First Sight.

She’s highly educated and a successful real estate agent. She admits her high standards have got in the way of her finding a partner. So, she’s trusting the process to make her dreams come true.

Shaquille Dillon admits he’s been acting weird lately as he gathers his friends to tell them the news. They act surprised. But he’s confident that he’s in a great space to take on the challenge. He is educated and driven. And is ready to share everything he has to offer with his new spouse.

Mack and Domynique Take a Chance on MAFS

Domynique Kloss considers herself an old soul. Raised as an only child by a single mother, her mom is her best friend. And she seeks her advice on everything.

Her mom actually signed her up for Married at First Sight. And she’s ready to take that chance. She’s over the bar scene and dating apps.

Mackinley “Mack” Gilbert is a Nashville newbie. He moved to Nashville for some new opportunities. He’s been staying with family friends. And surprises them with the news that he’s marrying a stranger.

Mack considers himself a dreamer. And dropped out of college to start his own business. He’s nervous but ready to give this experiment a shot.

Nicole Tells Friends She Will Be Married at First Sight

Nicole Lilienthal hails from New York City, NY. Fed up with the dating scene in the big apple, she thought Nashville might open new doors. But it hasn’t worked the way she planned.

Nicole considers herself sassy. And puts on puppet shows for her dog Charlie. She’s telling her friends her plan to marry a stranger. And she’s optimistic for what she calls a last resort.

Chris Thielk also came from a big city to Nashville. He left Chicago, IL for Nashville 3 years ago. He considers himself a hopeless romantic.

He’s really hoping that the Married at First Sight experiment can give him his forever person. His friends are supportive but worry that he’s too nice sometimes and don’t want him taken advantage of.

MAFS: Jasmine and Airris Will Say I Do

Airris Williams admits to friends he’ll be Married at First Sight. He suffered a heartbreak a while back. So, he’s been cautious. He admits he was looking for that perfect person.

But after a long look inward, realized that doesn’t exist. He’s a software engineer instructor. And he’s eager to settle down and share his life.

Jasmine Secrest is trusting the process to find her forever person. She tells her family over drinks about her decision. Everyone erupts into cheers.

Jasmine is a beauty queen with many titles in her past. She’s also passionate about coaching cheerleading. But she’s ready to find her king and commit to marriage.

Gina And Clint Take a Chance on Married at First Sight

Gina Micheletti is a well-known hairstylist in the Nashville area. She meets up with her mom and her friend to surprise them with champagne and some big news.

They are excited for her. Gina admits she’s spontaneous and ready to take a risk. She had a long-term relationship that didn’t work out. So, she’s ready to take a gamble with MAFS.

Clint Webb matches with Gina. He breaks the news to his buddies that he’s getting Married at First Sight. There’s high fives all around.

And Clint says he’s an adventurer at heart and fans say he looks like Chuck Norris. He’s an avid sailor and dreams of sharing that with a significant other. He too had a failed long relationship. So, he’s excited for a fresh start.
