As MAFS kicked off last week, fans watching the matchmaking specials and the first episode saw Clint Webb get confirmation that he’s engaged and set to marry in two weeks. He’s excited but also seems to be still embracing bachelorhood.
As the grooms talked at their MAFS bachelor party, some interesting info came out. Clint confessed he’d slept with someone random two weeks ago. That’s right when he was confirmed as a groom. And Airris Williams was still dating someone when he was matched.
The other three prospective Married at First Sight husbands were slightly stunned by this reveal. And fans were reeling, too, when they heard that both guys had been bedding other women recently. The experts expected them to commit to the process.

One comparison that keeps getting drawn about Clint Webb is that he looks like Chuck Norris. There are memes, tweets, and collages showing these two bearded semi-gingery guys looking a lot alike.

Will These Nashville Marriages Last on Married at First Sight?
Every season seems like there’s more of a focus on the drama than on making good matches. The Lifetime shows has pretty low success rates in any given season. The San Diego season 15 of Married at First Sight ended up with one couple sticking together long-term.
The other four split either during the process or after the Tell-All season ender. This season kicked off with Dr. Pepper Schwartz and Dr. Cal Roberson meeting the candidates and deciding on the matches. Perhaps this is to convince followers of the integrity of the process.
Some viewers have theorized that Married at First Sight producers make the matches to maximize drama for TV ratings. So, maybe the scenes with Pepper and Cal were to convince us otherwise and assure us that the experts are the ones making the matches.
Season 14 also had just one marriage survive the process, and MAFS Season 13 saw a five out of five failure rate. So, we won’t know for a few weeks the fate of Gina and her husband Clint Webb. But tonight’s episode sees them married. And he does look a bit like a celebrity lookalike at the altar…
