Married at First Sight star Karen Landry was not into Miles Williams at all during MAFS taping – or at least, that’s how it seemed. After the end of Season 11 of the Lifetime show, the truth started to come out.
Married at First Sight: Karen Landry Got Villain Edit? But Why?
Karen Landry found out who her instant husband would be before her Married at First Sight wedding day. She cried, saying she did not know if she could do this. At the time, she said Miles wasn’t her type, and she didn’t know if marrying him would be a good idea.
It looked like there would be one less Married at First Sight wedding, but then Karen went through with it anyway. When episodes aired, every clip of Karen Landry looked miserable when she was with Miles Williams. Her expressions looked like she didn’t care when he opened up to her. Was that all down to MAFS editing?
Recently, Karen revealed she and Miles Williams snuck away during the honeymoon to spend alone time together. She said it got them in trouble with production, but she also said she wouldn’t change a thing. This got viewers wondering if that’s the reason they gave her a seemingly bad edit.
MAFS Fans Disliked Karen
Miles came off as such a nice guy and Married at First Sight continued to focus on him trying to reach Karen. Even at their one-month anniversary, he gave her a sweet gift on the episode. But she didn’t give him one. However, it later came out that she did give him a gift for the milestone, but it was not included in the episode.
Also, Karen Landry held back from showing much affection on Married at First Sight. It was a big issue between her and Miles. They talked to the experts about it, and they thought it would be a good idea for them to get closer. But Karen wouldn’t do so on camera.

Married at First Sight fans kept trying to get in contact with Miles and said they would like to be in a relationship with him. Followers promised they would treat him better than her. To make it worse, Karen couldn’t defend herself because of the NDA (non-disclosure agreement) and had to take the flack. Fans feedback was brutal, but was trying to take her man the worst thing?
Married at First Sight: Season 11 Drama with Miles Williams
One of the scenes viewers really didn’t like was when Karen seemingly gave her man the cold shoulder in the bedroom. He joked about putting it on the calendar on Married at First Sight, even though they hadn’t been intimate. She seemed pretty upset. But in hindsight, it doesn’t seem like that was accurate either.
Soap Dirt recalls that on Unfiltered, she was able to tell her side of things. However, with the show still airing, Karen couldn’t spill too much about what happened on past and coming episodes. Since the duo is now on Married at First Sight Couples Cam, she may still be avoiding upsetting the production team. And her NDA’s still in play.
Fans of Married at First Sight seemed surprised that Karen Landry snuck off during filming. She was often seen as a goody-two-shoes. And not someone that would creep off with her man for private time. Now, fans get to see a different side of her and hopefully, the MAFS edits (and viewer feedback) will be more positive.
