Henry Rodriguez may not want to be remembered merely for his Married at First Sight gig. The former husband of Christina revealed he’s working on something big that’ll unveil his hidden talent. He shared what he claimed to be the beginning of his “quest to take over the world” as a musician.
Henry uploaded a dramatic black and white photo of himself playing the guitar. The 35-year-old recruiter looked serious as he strummed the strings, playing his supposed composition. Henry said he made a song but the “lyrics need some work”.
But it seems Henry Rodriguez was merely trolling his fans. The Married at First Sight cast member shared the sarcastic lyrics, obviously referring to his time on the show. Despite it being a joke, fans are totally digging it, with some encouraging him to turn it into reality.
Henry Jokes About His ‘New Reality’
Henry Rodriguez’s lyrics definitely highlighted his humorous side. The Married at First Sight celeb’s “new song” was nothing short of entertaining. Henry did not hold back in poking fun of himself, particularly during his experimental union with Christina.
“I took a chance and I was overwhelmed/ The situation as a whole felt like another realm,” part of the song read, seemingly referring to his short-lived marriage. Henry also made some cryptic remarks about the difficulties he dealt with during his time with Christina. “And nothing really seemed to ever work out right/ So I had myself a glass of red wine EVERY night,” he wrote.
Married at First Sight Star Throws Shade at Haters
In the same mock song, Henry Rodriguez hinted at how reality TV changed his life. The Married at First Sight celebrity implied it was challenging to cope with his “new reality”. Christina’s ex said it felt like part of his life was put on full display for the world to see and it wasn’t easy.
Henry also dissed his critics who continue to pry on his private life even after the show. He said he’s gotten used to it by now and tries not to let negative remarks get the best of him. Henry ended his song with a witty line revealing his technique to beat the trolls. “Just gotta block out all the haters chirping,” he joked.
