Married at First Sight husband Gil Cuero couldn’t believe the “insane” amount of money his wife, Myrla Feria, spends on clothing. He went through her things, asking her how much each pair of shoes cost – which leads fans to believe he’s jealous.
Married at First Sight: Gil Cuero Brings Up Money
Pastor Cal Roberson came to talk with Gil Cuero and his wife, Myrla Feria. Married at First Sight hubby Gil said Myrla really likes the finer things in life and went on to tell Pastor Cal about her shoe collection and clothes. He said he thought she had thousand of dollars of stuff in there.
Myrla from MAFS shook her head and said there was no way. However, the little smirk on her face made people think she knew her husband was right. Pastor Cal Roberson said he was going to go with Gil Cuero’s numbers.
Myrla said she didn’t count how much money she spent on shoes. She admitted she’d go out and buy seven pairs or so once or twice a year. Gil’s eye got big, and he said he couldn’t believe it and kept calling her Princess.

Myrla Feria Loves Being a Princess
Married at First Sight wifey Myrla knows she is a princess and doesn’t care that her husband calls her that. Gil said, “I’m just in your world,” when they started looking through their new apartment. He just wanted to make her happy and is pretty easy to please.
When the couple was on their Married at First Sight honeymoon, Myrla didn’t care to tell how she really felt about things. She said the resort looked like a retirement home. Gil Cuero didn’t agree with her and said he thought the place was amazing.
Fans of Married at First Sight didn’t really like Myrla Feria at first, but now more people said she’s cool. Most people like that she is open and honest about who she is. Since she can pay for the lifestyle she wants, most people don’t think there is a problem.
Married at First Sight: Gil Says ‘It Must Be Nice’ to Myrla
When Lifetime’s Myrla said she didn’t think about how much money she spends on shoes, Gil told her it must be nice. She looked at him like, “Yes, it is nice,” and fans wondered if he was a little jealous of his wife’s money – even though he’d said he isn’t motivated by money.
Not being motivated by money made Myrla Feria look at her hubby a little crazy. She told him that she definitely had money motivation. And he gave her a knowing look and smirked when she said that.
Viewers of Married at First Sight said they wished they had money like Myrla. But many agreed that they didn’t think they’d be willing to work as hard as she does. Especially since she had to “do a work thing” on the honeymoon.
Gil Bougie Like Myrla?
Married at First Sight star Gil Cuero let it slip that he had his own collection of designer shoes. He said, “I just don’t have any many as she does,” and fans said they must have hidden that purposefully for the show.
Fans said that gave them more home that their relationship would work out. Since Gil at least understands why someone would want them – maybe it’s not a deal breaker. Whatever the case, fans said there are still other issues between the couple, for instance, their lack of kissing.
Gil said he could wait, but he was totally ready for Myrla. She just grinned and didn’t say a word.
