Married at First Sight: Chris Williams & Paige Banks Waver Before Answering
Chris Williams sat down with the Married at First Sight experts and Paige Banks on Decision Day. Chris never moved in with her after the honeymoon. He even changed his flight to go to Chicago instead of returning to Atlanta with the rest of the couples. Shortly after Paige settled in Atlanta, in the apartment they were supposed to share, Chris Williams told her he wanted a divorce.
Chris and Paige have not lived together as a married couple, and as far as fans know, haven’t spoken since Paige Banks moved out of the apartment several episodes ago. But on Decision Day, Chris told the experts on Married At First Sight they were undecided. In fact, Chris told Dr. Viviana Coles she wasn’t going to control him, and he wasn’t going to give her an answer.
Dr. Viv said she felt he was playing with Paige Banks and playing with them. Pastor Calvin Roberson told Paige he could see that she heard things from Chris she’d never heard before. Chris Williams said he had regrets, and he thought she was everything he needed in a wife. He said he has feelings for her. Paige said she didn’t want to act on emotions after hearing things she wanted to hear before Decision Day on Lifetime’s Married at First Sight.
MAFS: Chris Walks Away in Tears
Married at First Sight’s Chris Williams, dissolved into tears on Decision Day while telling the experts his ex-fiancee miscarried. Again, he walked away from the conversation, as he’s done before. Often seen on the show in tears, Chris cried after Paige Banks spoke with his parents at the post-wedding brunch.
He cried again when he told the rest of the couples the baby news. Some fans think he was playing it up for the reality TV world.
Paige once again followed Chris Williams to console him when he walked out of Decision sit down with the experts. Some followers are livid at his behavior, calling his crying “crocodile tears” and claiming he set it all up to make Paige look bad.

One remembered Chris told expert Calvin Roberson he wasn’t attracted to Paige’s looks, but now he says Paige is everything he needs in a wife.
Married at First Sight: Paige is Overwhelmed
Paige Banks, who reality TV fans report as a pillar of strength, reached her breaking point on MAFS Decision Day. When Chris Williams began wavering on making a decision, Pastor Cal put it bluntly and asked if he was deciding to stay married for now?
Paige was shaking her head no, and when the matchmakers asked for clarification, she was unable to speak. Crying, Paige said it was too much and walked away.
After a brief conversation with the Married at First Sight TV producers, Paige said she didn’t want to make the biggest mistake of her life. Paige said she didn’t know what’s real right now. Producers reminded her she felt sure before she arrived and asked why she would question herself now?
Meanwhile, Cal Roberson counseled Chris and told him it wasn’t about the show. Cal said Chris should be the man he knows Chris can be and make decisions and be responsible.

Paige pulled herself together and returned to give her final decision to the TV experts. Chris, despite the advice by Cal Roberson to make a decision, stayed quiet. Paige Banks wouldn’t say the word divorce, but finally admitted she didn’t want to stay married to Chris.
Paige said she’d been trying to hold onto a little bit of hope, but she didn’t think things would change. For her own health, mentally and emotionally, she did not want to stay married after the two months. She looked at Chris Williams as she said it, but he did not respond. For these two, the Lifetime experiment, Married at First Sight, is over. Nothing could save their marriage.
