Many fans think Chris Williams quickly became the most hated cast member of Married at First Sight. Even before the wedding, viewers commented on the way he acted. And said they didn’t believe he went on the show for the right reasons. Then the real drama began. Chris’ true colors shined through when he slept with Paige Banks. And then told her he wasn’t attracted to her the next morning.
Since then, it’s been one thing after another. Chris Williams’ ex-fiancee told him she was pregnant. And he told his Married at First Sight wife he wanted a divorce. Then he didn’t and wanted to work things out. Many followers said Paige Banks was a saint to put up with him and all his lies. On top of that, Chris talked constantly about how much money he had. But fans felt he was lying about that too.
Chris Williams Boast About Buying Second Home
Chris Williams claimed that he was very well off. And that he made a lot of money. Throughout Married at First Sight he talked about his financial status. And tried to prove his wealth by buying expensive things. Including a new Mercedes Benz for his pregnant ex-fiancee. But fans did some research on Chris. And found that he owned a Subway. So they didn’t believe he had that much money. Especially since they uncovered that he was behind on the payments.
More and more evidence piled up that Chris Williams wasn’t as wealthy as he wanted everyone to believe. But he still claimed that he had a lot of money. And recently, Chris made a post about looking to buy a condo in Miami, Florida. And he said that he wasn’t moving. The Married at First Sight celeb boasted that it would be a second home. And implied that his wealth was enough to support that.
Married at First Sight: Fans Clap Back
Chris Williams may be the only one convinced about his high financial status. But many Married at First Sight fans don’t believe a word of it. In fact, a huge following clapped back after his post looking for a realtor in Miami. And asked, “anyone wanna help Chris out…LOL.” Hundreds of critics jumped on to harp about Chris Williams’ “so called wealth.” And called him a grifter and worse.
One fan wrote, “this grifter will post pics of himself inside a high-end condo… trying to pass it off as his” while on a tour. And said that Chris Williams would be wasting a Realtor’s time. Others called him pathetic. The general consensus among fan remarks was that Chris made the post to make people think he was back on his feet.
