‘Married at First Sight’: Amber Bowles Spending Time with Bad Boy Luke Cuccurullo
Married at First Sight alum Luke Cuccurullo recently had a conversation with fellow cast member Amber Bowles about Matt Gwynne. Surprisingly, the pair are friends. And, they recently discussed their mutual MAFS experience and Amber’s legal status with her estranged hubby Matt.
Married at First Sight: Luke Cuccurullo Chats with Amber Bowles
Amber Bowles’ ex, Matt Gwynne, was the villain of their season in Charlotte, North Carolina. So, a lot of Married at First Sight fans are surprised to find that Amber is besties with Luke Cuccurullo – the villain of the Philadelphia season according to many viewers.
The Married at First Sight pair talked at length about their experience with the show. And, some of the backlash they both get from followers. It’s no secret Luke gets the majority of it after how things ended with Kate Sisk on his season of the Lifetime show. But, Amber Bowles added that she has her share of haters, too.
Interestingly, she and Luke Cuccurullo went on a white water rafting outing that she planned to do with Matt. And, she and Luke genuinely seem to hit it off. Because of Luke Cuccurullo’s villain status on his season, it’s hard for a lot of watchers to imagine Amber being besties with him. But, the Married at First Sight alums definitely seem friendly with one another.
MAFS: Amber Dishes on Matt Gwynne Divorce
The elephant in the room when it comes to Amber Bowles is her divorce status with her Married at First Sight match Matt Gwynne. Amber spilled on that. And, she even threw more shade Matt’s way. Amber claimed she sent him the divorce papers “three times”. And, in her mind, he refused to sign them out of “laziness and spite”. And, she accused her estranged hubby of holding onto the divorce papers as a way to maintain “power” over her.
Amber Bowles added that she went into the Married at First Sight process thinking it wouldn’t fail. Meanwhile, she said some of the things she told the experts she wanted were “superficial”. She wanted someone “athletic” and into sports. And, she said that’s the only thing she had in common with her husband.
Amber Bowles went on to say there were “red flags” from day one on Married at First Sight. She called Matt Gwynne a “fu** boy”. And, she claimed he wouldn’t leave her alone about being intimate until they finally did the deed. Meanwhile, she even accused the former basketball player of stalking her. According to Amber Bowles, Matt dates people in her neighborhood. So, she sees him often.
What’s Next for the Married at First Sight Star?
One of the looming questions surrounding Amber Bowles and her divorce situation with Matt Gwynne is when things will be official. The Married at First Sight cast member revealed to Luke Cuccurullo that Matt finally signed the divorce papers on July 27 – after having them for nearly a year.
Amber added that she hopes to officially divorce Matt Gwynne by September. But, in the meantime, that doesn’t stop her from moving on with her life – with a new man to boot. Chatter of Amber’s new beau circulated a few months ago. And, the Married at First Sight wife shared pictures together as well.
Turns out, Amber and her new guy seem pretty serious. She told Luke Cuccurullo that they already talk about buying a house together. And, she said she’s in a “good place” now after her “dark experience” with Matt Gwynne. Meanwhile, now that the divorce papers are officially signed, she is one step closer to putting this part of her life behind her for good.
