Mama June: Road to Redemption star Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon stuns her mother, June Shannon, this week. Soon, Mama makes a grand gesture. But her daughter is fed up, and she’s not having it. And what she does next will change their lives forever on the WEtv reality series.
Mama June: Road to Redemption — Pumpkin Shannon Flips Out
Recently, in Season 6 of Mama June: Road to Redemption, Pumpkin Shannon lost it on her mom June. Now, Mama is back in Georgia and living close to Pumpkin — too close. And she is livid that Mama moved back from Florida without telling her.
But her biggest problem is the reason for her mother’s move. Mama wants her youngest daughter Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, to live with her. But, of course, Pumpkin is dead set against it.
She doesn’t feel that she can trust Mama. And to make matters worse, Mama’s new boyfriend (now husband) Justin Stroud is living with her. No way will Pumpkin let her pseudo-daughter Alana live with this man she doesn’t know.
Furthermore, Alana agrees and says she will not live with Mama’s random new man. So, Pumpkin is bent on protecting Alana by getting full legal custody. And Honey Boo Boo is on board.
However, Mama doesn’t know this yet. And she soon makes another attempt to make things right with her daughters on Mama June: Road to Redemption.
June Shannon Makes Grand Gesture on WEtv
This week, in Season 6, Mama goes all out to reconnect with Pumpkin and her big sister Jessica Shannon. She takes the girls on an apology trip to Las Vegas. Jessica and her sister agree to go, and Mama’s ecstatic.
She wants to get on better terms with her kids. And her man Justin urges her to fix things. So, Mama thinks she’s on the right path. However, her girls hit her with a bombshell after they get to Vegas on the next Mama June: Road to Redemption.
Mama June: Lauryn Makes Big Move
Mama’s trip gets off to a decent start, and she and the girls seem to be having a good time. But little does Mama know that Pumpkin Shannon plans to serve her with custody papers that she must sign.
Jessica thinks her sister has everything under control and is calm. But she’s highly nervous on Mama June: Road to Redemption. And she’s about to jump out of her skin.
Of course, there’s an excellent chance that Mama will refuse to sign the custody papers. She wants Alana with her.

And she’ll likely put up a fight to keep her child. Plus, the whole family is on Pumpkin’s side, and Mama is sure to feel ganged up on. And she may flip out.
Her sister Joanne “Doe Doe” Shannon worries that Mama won’t sign the papers. But, Josh Efird says that they’ll take her to court if she refuses. So, things are about to get ugly for the Shannon women.
