During a recent interview with The Sun, Mama June Shannon and her husband Justin Stroud shared their plans to return to Georgia. The Mama June: Family Crisis couple says they will leave Alabama and move back home just as soon as Justin clears up a couple of legal issues.

As previously reported, her oldest daughter Anna (Chickadee) Cardwell has been diagnosed with stage four adrenal carcinoma. Her cancer is rare.
Since receiving her diagnosis in January, the spouses say they split their time between Alabama and Georgia. They have been visiting often to help her and her two daughters Kaitlyn Cardwell and Kylee Cardwell.
She says the family has been helping Anna get to and from her chemotherapy treatments and seeing to the needs of her children. Things have not always been easy between them.
However, the WEtv reality star reveals they had begun making headway with their relationship before the diagnosis. However, now that she is sick, she feels an increased need to be close to her daughter.

She is not the only member of Mama June: Family Crisis stepping up to support Anna during this difficult period. Younger sisters, Lauryn (Pumpkin) Efird, Jessica (Chubbs) Shannon, and Alana (Honey Boo Boo) Thompson have all rallied around their older sister in her time of need.

They say the entire family is pulling together to help and make things as stress-free as possible while she continues her treatment plan. It has not been easy on them.
They say it is very difficult to see her so sick. However, she is fighting hard, and according to Cardwell’s most recent social media post she states, things are looking good.
Anna was in high spirits on Saturday, May 20, and even attended her younger sister, Alana Thompson’s high school graduation ceremony. The older sister beamed with pride as her baby sister walked across the stage in her yellow and blue cap and gown to receive her diploma.
Mama June: Family Crisis – June Gives Sad Update on Daughter’s Prognosis
June Shannon of Family Crisis shared an update on her daughter’s progress earlier this month. She said it has been a difficult journey for her so far. She added,” She recently finished her second chemotherapy round, and will soon begin her third. The second round of treatment was “really rough” and she has lost all of her hair due to the chemo treatments.”
She is staying positive and fighting, her mother recently said. “She is going through such aggressive treatment. However, if it doesn’t work. they head back to the drawing board. But she doesn’t know what the next step will be.”
The family matriarch also says they have had difficult conversations as well. “We know what could happen, and her children know that.” It is not a conversation any parent wants to have with their child. However, the family felt it was necessary.
It is not easy on anyone. As tough as some days are, the family is all stepping up. They plan to make things as easy on Anna Cardwell as possible.
So, for the Mama June: Family Crisis star, if that means moving back to Georgia. That is what she will do. “There are days when I don’t know whether to scream or get mad,” she said. But, no matter what, she and the family will be by her side through it all.
