Love During Lockup couple Jessica and Dustin are making plans for their future together. She is ready to go all in with him. However, there are a few things she needs to do first.

Since she is from Florida and he is from Tennessee, she is ready to take a road trip, meet his family members, and hopefully win them over. But they don’t know she’s coming. Will she really blindside his family?

Love During Lockup: Dustin Wins Over Jessica with Gushy Letter

Jessica is ready and willing to do anything for her Love During Lockup partner. However, since she has already been through two failed marriages, she wants to ensure it will last this time. So, she is planning a road trip to meet his family.

She says that, at first, she was not looking for love. Especially at her job as a prison nurse. However, something just clicked between them.

From the first meeting, she knew he was the man for her. Although, she admits it is sometimes difficult to talk to him because he is currently in solitary confinement – or the box.

The Love During Lockup star is ready to drive to Tennessee to meet his family. Her daughter Bailey is making the trip with her. Bailey has never met Dustin. She is a little skeptical of her mom’s infatuation with him.

So, she tries to put her at ease by sharing a few paragraphs of the recent letter she has received from Dustin. Bailey finds the letter cheesy, but her mom doesn’t see it that way. She describes herself as a hopeless romantic and swoons over his promise of lasting commitment.

Love During Lockup: Jessica Blindsides Dustin’s Family

Jessica is bound and determined that the third time at marriage will be the charm. The Love During Lockup star admits her past failed marriages have left her a little guarded.

But something about Dustin’s reassuring words put her at ease. She also is getting anxious about meeting his family. She knows this is a big deal.

Since Dustin is in solitary confinement, Jessica has not been able to talk to him. She tells her daughter that the original plan was for him to call his family and inform them about their relationship.

He was also to give them a heads-up that his future wife was coming to Tennessee to meet them. But, since he cannot phone his family, she is going in blind. She has no idea what to expect when she arrives unannounced. All she knows is she needs it to go well.

WEtv Couple Believe DOC Is Against Them

The Love During Lockup nurse thinks that DOC is on a witch-hunt against her. She says she has applied for visitation and continues to get the runaround. Jessica feels it is because of her job and how many different prisons she has worked at over the years. She believes it could be a red flag.

Jessica says that he is listed as insubordinate. She also says he has been falsely accused of ruing state property. She says it is a clear case of the Department of Corrections – or DOC – having it out against them.

Bailey is not so sure about Dustin. She knows her mom is nervous about meeting his family. She feels they may put a lot of pressure on her mom to ensure he stays on the straight and narrow.

It is not yet known when he may be released from prison. However, Jessica of Love During Lockup remains optimistic. She tells her daughter that she feels sure that Dustin is through with prison and has no need to worry.

Bailey is listening intently to her mom’s romantic notions. She wants her to find her happiness and hopes Dustin is it. However, deep down, the WEtv Love During Lockup inmate will have much to do to prove himself to Jessica’s daughter.
