‘Love After Lockup’: Stan Smith Keeps Felon Fling Lisa a Secret from His Kids?
Love After Lockup bachelor Stan Smith chats on the phone with love Lisa on the next episode and drops a bombshell. It doesn’t sound like his kids know much – if anything – about his jailhouse sweetie. Meanwhile, Lisa asks when she’ll get to meet Stan’s kids – so this sounds like an awkward conversation on the WEtv show.
Love After Lockup: Stan Smith’s Daughters Don’t Like Any of His Girlfriends
On the debut episode of this season’s prison romance show, Stan revealed that his wife passed away years ago, back in 2012. Later, he began dating, meeting women online but it never worked out.
In a phone call with Lisa, her much-older boyfriend reassures her that it’s nothing personal. Stan Smith says if she were “Joan of Arc”, his daughters still wouldn’t approve. Stan says nobody’s as good to them as their mother.
Stan, “Since my wife past it’s been about 100-145 women I’ve dated…”

However, it truly doesn’t seem fair that his daughters would expect their dad to live without love in Stan’s life. Still, finding romance with an inmate is a different matter. And so is showing your face on a reality show like Love After Lockup.
Friends Worry She’s After His Money – He Plans to Give Her One-Fourth
On the initial episode of Love After Lockup, his similarly-aged friends worried that Lisa might be a gold digger and warned him to hide the good silverware. But Stan Smith insists he thinks this might be the real deal.
Meanwhile, Lisa seems genuine in wanting to be a fixture in his life. And she asks, on the second episode, when she’ll meet his kids. He said he’s not sure and they worry about “silly things”. Stan says his daughters don’t like anyone he dates, so it “doesn’t apply”.
Stan also reveals Lisa and his daughters are close in age (40s). But, he says, at any age, “they wouldn’t like her”. It seems, though, that Stan Smith has told his daughters about Lisa. Because he says on Love After Lockup they think she’s “using him for money”.
She says she has “good intentions” and then Stan reveals to the WEtv cameras that he plans to give his kids each 25% of his estate, leaving 25% for Lisa. But, he says he can’t remember if he told Lisa that or not…
