‘Little People, Big World’: Zach Slams Matt Roloff – Picks Profit before Family?
Little People, Big World son Zach Roloff accuses Matt Roloff of going back on his family motto. He claims his father is putting money over family today as the new season gears up for air on TLC. But Matt doesn’t see it this way. And even Amy Roloff weighs in on the father-son dilemma.
Little People, Big World: Zach Roloff Makes an Offer
In the new LPBW season 23 promo, Zach Roloff says that he and Tori Roloff, his wife, made an offer for the north side of the farm. But it sounds like Matt Roloff rejected it. His son seems upset and they bicker.
On camera, in Little People, Big World season 23, Zach accuses his dad. He claims Matt wants to make money off his family. Then, Zach wants to know what happened to this “legacy” his father talked about for years.
When Little People, Big World’s new season debuts on May 17, 2022, it looks as if there’s a father-son feud brewing. Could money come between Zach, and Matt, and family harmony?
Zach Roloff seems to think his dad’s greed outweighs his motto that the farm is the Roloff family legacy over the years. But it’s not known yet what Zach offered his father for the land.
LPBW Season 23: Matt Roloff Claims Son’s Offer Came with Demands
When it’s Matt’s turn to step up to the camera, he claims Zach didn’t come to negotiate — he came with demands. So, from Matt’s point of view, it sounds as if he thinks Zach might feel entitled.
And Amy Roloff has something to say on the Little People, Big World promo. She is not surprised that there’s a falling out between them. Then, she says things changed, and they’re not going back to what they once were.
With editing very much in play, it’s hard to say what Amy meant by that statement. But maybe she meant that with Matt Roloff now as the sole owner of the farm, she’s got no voice. Recall that she sold her share to her ex-husband.
Zach Roloff claims his father preached that the farm was the Roloff legacy. But now, in Zach’s eyes, things have changed. And he’s not happy in Season 23, Little People, Big World, judging by the promo.
Little People, Big World: More to It Than Meets the Eye with Zach & Dad?
At first, LPBW followers thought Zach Roloff would buy the farm. Instead, he moved away. That may have been fallout from what we see airing next month on TLC.
Recent reports say Matt Roloff wants Jacob Roloff to take over the family farm instead. Are Jacob and his wife Isabel Rock Roloff the new first choice for dad Matt?
Yet a recent tweet from Jacob hints at his feelings. See below as he suggests that some people sold their souls for money. Fans read the tweet as a scathing slam at his family.
At one time, Jeremy Roloff and his wife Audrey Roloff wanted to take over the family farm as well. All the kids live within an hour’s drive of the farm, so that’s no indicator of its fate.
The latest word is that out of the three brothers, Matt now favors his youngest son Jacob Roloff. But only one person gets to decide who the keys to the kingdom go to next, and that’s the patriarch.
Matt’s Legacy Talk on LPBW
Fans think Matt Roloff should be happy with Zach and Tori settling on the farm. They also suggest that this grandfather could watch that legacy take hold.
But from what his son says, the Little People, Big World patriarch is letting money get in the way. Some fans suggest that money shouldn’t be involved. These followers hoped he’d give each of his kids a piece of the land.
But today, Zach wants to be there. With him and his children on the farm, there would be three generations of Roloffs. Plus, his two kids, Jackson Roloff and Lilah Roloff, will soon have a sibling.
Zach and Tori expect their third child this spring. So, his son’s family of five being part of the farm would allow Matt to see his legacy in action, suggest Little People, Big World fans.
Some fans who watched the new promo commented about the smirk on Caryn Chandler’s face. She’s Matt Roloff’s long-time girlfriend and appears next to him as he claims Zach came to him with demands.
Some fans suggest she’s in her farmer boyfriend’s ear about the money issue. Again, the editing of the promo clip leaves a lot of room for assumptions. At one point, Zach Roloff says we have put an end to this cycle.
But what he’s referring to with this is unknown. LPBW rolls out its new season on May 17 on TLC. The previews say what happens this season rocks the family foundation to the core.
