‘Little People, Big World’: Zach Roloff’s Emergency Surgery

Little People, Big World‘s Zach Roloff‘s wife, Tori Roloff, is asking for prayers. The TLC reality star reveals that Zach will undergo surgery Tori says doctors have assured them that the operation was routine.

However, they both felt very nervous. So, since she believes in the “power of prayer”, she is reaching out to viewers to keep him in their thoughts.

Little People, Big World: Zach Roloff’s Past Medical Issues

According to his wife, Tori Roloff, Zach of Little People, Big World is facing a medical emergency. She says that her husband will undergo last-minute surgery to repair a damaged shunt in his head. The reality television personality chose not to share details at this time.

LPBW fans know that over the years, Zach faced many adversities with his health. This is not the first time his shunt has given him, and his loved ones cause for concern.

In 2017, Zach became concerned after suffering from frequent headaches and nausea. When his symptoms and excessive pain did not subside after a few months, he finally reached out to his Little People, Big World family.

His parents, Matt Roloff and Amy Roloff feared their son’s issues could be related to the shunt he had implanted in his head as an infant. This was to help drain fluid from his brain. In the end, he had surgery to repair the original shunt.

TLC Family Continues to Face Health Problems

Throughout the years, the Little People, Big World star has dealt with numerous health issues due to Dwarfism. Zach suffers from achondroplasia, which is the most common form.

Besides the shunt operation, he also received surgery on his back and two surgeries on his legs. However, he has never let his disabilities deter him from his goals.

The couple also shares three children, Jackson Roloff, Lilah Roloff, and Josiah Roloff. All three children were born with achondroplasia.

In the past, Jackson has also undergone the same leg surgery as his dad to help correct the bowing in his legs. Tori has also previously stated that the couple’s daughter, Lilah, would likely have corrective eye surgery sometime this year.

Zach’s mom, Amy, canceled her upcoming Facebook Live for tomorrow night due to the family emergency. Little People Big World followers continue to send their prayers and well wishes to Zach and his family.
