‘Little People, Big World’: Matt Roloff’s Secret Plan Revealed?

Matt Roloff from Little People, Big World is selling a part of the farm. Was this his plan all along? Fans think so.

Little People, Big World: Matt Roloff Plans to Sell Farm

Matt Roloff reveals in the latest episode of Little People, Big World what he plans to do with the North side of the farm. That area includes the big farmhouse, a couple of barns, and some of the buildings that the kids played on.

He had seemingly wanted one of his children to take over the land. But, after two deals fell through, he didn’t think it was meant to be. So, he had to decide what to do with the acres of land.

Matt feels that it was one of the toughest decisions he had to make. He can’t take care of the land by himself. He knows he has to start simplifying his life. So, he plans to put the farm’s north side up for sale. The deal will be the same that he offered both his twin boys.

Matt Roloff feels that people may think he’s making a “cold-hearted business decision.” But, it wasn’t an easy one for the Little People, Big World star to make. He spent years thinking about what he should do with that side of the land.

Fans React to Matt Giving Up Land — Was It His Plan?

Matt Roloff’s plan didn’t sit well with viewers. Many people feel that selling the farm was his plan all along. One person believes that he “low balled” Amy Roloff and then “high balled the kids” to make money from the sale. Another person even thinks that he’s a “narcissistic parent.”

However, some Little People, Big World viewers don’t think Matt rolled over his twin boys and Amy Roloff. One person says that his ex-wife got her money.

And, he supposedly still owes her money from that deal. He still has mortgages to pay and needs money for his retirement. So, they feel that he made the best decision for himself.

Little People, Big World Fans Feel Bad for Amy Roloff

Amy Roloff shares that she settled for less than market value when she accepted Matt Roloff’s buyout option. She thought that one of their children would inherit the land.

But, if she had known that his plan was to sell the farm, she would’ve liked to see how she could keep it in the family. Was Zach Roloff right about his accusations that Matt chose profit over family? Some fans think so, but others disagree.

Many Little People, Big World fans feel bad for Amy Roloff. One person thinks that she and Chris Marek should buy the farmhouse.

Another person says she should’ve had a lawyer draw an agreement that if one of their children got the home, the price stands. But, if it were sold to someone outside the family, Matt would owe her an additional $200,000.

Did Amy make the right decision by trusting Matt — or should she have had a contract to ensure the farm goes to their children?
