Little People, Big World: Tori Roloff Looks Back at Josiah’s Birth

Tori Roloff recently took a look back at the day her youngest son, Josiah Roloff, was born. He didn’t come on his due date. So, she gave birth to her baby boy on April 30th. It was a few days before her birthday.

He made his grand entrance into the world at nine in the morning. He was seven pounds and just over 19 inches. The TLC star’s baby boy also has achondroplasia, like his siblings and father, Zach.

The Little People, Big World reality star admits that delivering the baby was straightforward. She explains that her water had broken, and she went in for a C-section. A few hours later, she was holding her now one-year-old son.

However, postpartum was a struggle for her. Recovering wasn’t an easy process. It was a very emotional time for her. But, she was thankful to have her mother and health care professionals by her side.

The TLC star misses the days when Josiah was a newborn. She can’t believe how small he was. However, she is grateful for him and for having three beautiful babies.

Zach Leaves after Josiah Roloff’s Birth

Tori still gets emotional thinking about the day she gave birth to Josiah. She admits being “slightly stoked” when she found out he was a boy. But, it isn’t all good memories for her.

The Little People, Big World cast member reveals that Zach Roloff got very sick while waiting for their baby’s arrival. It was the start of his shunt issues. So, he had to leave shortly after the baby was born.

It was emotional for Tori to be in a hospital alone with a newborn. She was mad that it wasn’t how she thought her hospital stay would go. But she was glad to have her mother and hospital staff there for help.

The TLC star explains that her mother “stepped up” for her in such a huge way while Zach was away. And she is grateful for that.

Little People, Big World Celeb Turns One

Tori and Zach Roloff’s youngest son recently celebrated his first birthday. To celebrate the special day, they threw him a rodeo-themed birthday party. They say it was “Josiah’s first rodeo.”

The Little People, Big World parents had cookies shaped like cowboy hats, boots, and horseshoes at the party. Zach’s wife thinks the cookies are better than she thought they would look. There were also balloons to match the theme.

Tori had previously hinted what Josiah Roloff’s birthday party theme was. She showed off a pair of cow prints and horseshoe earrings. Many fans thought she was doing a farm theme party. But fans were wrong. She went with a rodeo-themed celebration.
