Kailyn Lowry Quits & Confirms MTV’s Panicked ‘Teen Mom’ Move
Teen Mom star Kailyn Lowry confirms that the significant changes rumored to be taking place at MTV are valid. MTV will be combining the two popular reality series into one series. Lowry reveals the talks began a while back due to the rating drop that both series are undergoing.
Kailyn Lowry Tells Fans She Is Moving on From Teen Mom
Kailyn Lowry reveals that MTV has decided to drop the two once-popular Teen Mom franchises and combine the series into one in hopes of salvaging franchise remains.
Lowry says that the new reality show will be rebranded because the moms no longer are teens. Most are in their 30s now. So, a name change is in the making.
Reports claim that MTV would like to keep as many of the original cast as possible by rotating episodes. This means less screentime for the reality stars. However, Kailyn Lowry says she wants no part of it. Lowry is very open with her fans about her feelings toward the reality show.
She reveals she has been over it for some time now. During her Friday Barely Famous podcast, the Teen Mom star revealed to fans that MTV contacted her about remaining with the network.
Kailyn says she congratulated the network on their new venture but wants nothing to do with it. Kail says that she has so much more going on at this point in her life. “I feel as if I have enough going on in my own life to do my show.”
Teen Mom: Star Feels She Is Ready for Her Reality Series
Lowry says that if the network wanted to offer her a series of her own, she would talk business with them.
However, Kail says that working on the new Teen Mom show would mean taking a pay cut and losing her ability to tell her story entirely. Lowry asks her fans why she would want to take a pay cut but do the same amount of work?

For now, Kailyn says she has found something she loves to do with her podcasting series. But, she wants to see where it takes her for the time being.
Kailyn adds it is just how she feels for now. But, she also says that in the future, things could change. At this juncture, Lowry says she makes more money with her podcasting than she did at MTV.
Kailyn And Briana DeJesus Plan to Keep Their Feud Going
You never know. As Teen Mom fans know, Kailyn Lowry and co-star Briana DeJesus are continuing to battle out their differences in court. Last week Kailyn revealed to fans that things did not go her way in the defamation case against Briana DeJesus.
She calls the judge’s decision unfortunate. But, Kailyn shows she continues to stand by her truth and that everything sad against her is untrue.
It was quite a battle between Kailyn and Briana. But things are not quite over. While Lowry says she spent $200,000 in legal fees fighting DeJesus, Briana reveals she will sue Kailyn for the $120,000 she spent.
Fans feel that the drama between the two Teen Mom stars is far from over, and they will be going at each other for years down the road.
