Jax Recast with Josh Kelly? Is ‘General Hospital’ Slamming Door on Ingo Rademacher?

Josh Kelly debuts on General Hospital soon, and he may take on the role of Jasper Jacks “Jax” as it seems Ingo Rademacher is out for good. Josh will play a regular character on GH. And the photo below suggests he could easily play the Aussie legacy character on the ABC sudser.

Ingo Rademacher Done with General Hospital

Longtime GH star Ingo Rademacher was let go last year for failure to comply with the Covid vaccine mandate. Ingo feels it is unjust that he had to get the vaccine to remain on General Hospital as Jasper Jacks. Therefore, he is suing ABC/Disney, and his case is set for a jury trial on 2/27/2023.

When Ingo Rademacher exited the soap, Jax went back to Australia. So, there is an opening for Jax if Ingo wants to come back or the showrunners decide to recast.

Now, a recast looks likely because Ingo is following through with his lawsuit. So, there may be a new Jax on the way. And it will be a slap at the actor if ABC closes the door on him for good.

Striking Resemblance between Josh Kelly and GH Vet Ingo

General Hospital casting updates promise Josh Kelly will join the sudser at the end of the month. And the pic below shows that Josh looks an awful lot like Ingo when his hair is cut short. So, there’s an excellent possibility that Josh Kelly could take over as Jax because Josh looks so much like him.

Of course, there is always a chance that Josh could replace Steve Burton as Stone Cold Jason Morgan. Or Josh may play a new character entirely. However, Jax seems highly likely.

Jax burned several bridges before leaving Port Chuck, and he might soon come back to make amends and start fresh, suggest GH spoilers.

Jasper Jacks Returns on General Hospital

Last we saw Jax on GH, he made quite a few enemies. Fans will recall that he joined forces with his ex-wife Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).

And together, they hid the truth from Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) that Nelle Hayes (Chloe Lanier) was her daughter. As a result, his romance with Nina blew up, recall General Hospital recaps.

Also, he blackmailed his former stepson Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), to help Nina see her grandson, Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver).

On top of that, he tried to get Carly to incriminate herself. So, Jax has a lot to make up for on General Hospital. And now that Nina is at war with the Corinthos family, he may resurface.

Also, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is in the mix because she’s Nina’s other daughter. Plus, Carly is no longer Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) wife. So, Jasper Jacks may return, hoping to mend fences with Carly and his former flame Nina.

And he may play peacemaker. Or he might try to get back into Carly’s good graces by siding with her against Nina. Indeed, there are several different ways things could play out for Jasper Jacks if he comes back to Port Charles.

So, be sure to keep up with GH. Soon, Josh Kelly may pick up where Ingo Rademacher left off, and Jax may return to Port Chuck on the ABC soap.
