The groom-to-be has been happily planning his nuptials to secret-keeping Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) between running Salem as the town’s mayor. Abe looks forward to a future with his sweetheart. But, that’s all about to change in an instant on Days of our Lives.
Updates report Abe goes down – is he shot? But Jake DiMera’s on the spot and tries to help him. It seems an old associate from Jake’s shady past makes a mess of things for the mayor and the mechanic. Days of our Lives comings and goings said Carmine (Richards Stevens) comes to town to cause problems for Jake. But, this spells danger for Abe as well.

He collapses and when Jake can’t revive the mayor, he’s rushed to University Hospital. Meanwhile, on DOOL, the police take Jake to the Salem Police Department for questioning. Time’s running out for both these men.

Days of Our Lives updates divulge that Abe Carver needs immediate medical attention. After collapsing in the park, seemingly a victim of mob violence, he needs care ASAP. Soon, Abe is in serious condition. He’s had health scares in the past, but this may be something different altogether. It looks like he’s collateral damage in a shooting.

Needless to say, his bride-to-be will be at his side as he fights for his life. Paulina may even finally tell him the truth about her past once he’s out of the woods. Carmine is not going to take the fall for the beating that killed a Philadelphia business owner- the death Philip is using for blackmail. Set up by the other hitman, Jake DiMera must fight to prove his innocence.
And Gabi works to convince her brother that Jake is not a criminal anymore on Days of Our Lives on NBC. Viewers wonder if Abe wakes up in time to set the record straight. After all, Jake’s quick thinking got Abe to the hospital in time. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that Abe Carver survives this ordeal . Thank goodness Jake DiMera was there. But it may cost him his freedom.
