Young and the Restless spoilers blindsided both Mariah and fans bringing in Tessa’s husband. Obviously, this was a brand new invention from writers. However, given Tessa Porter’s history of constant lies, it was (sort-of) plausible. However, it was certainly out of the blue.
Then again, there’s a lot of other sketchy stuff in Tessa Porter’s background on Young and the Restless. Spoilers recall there was her complicated situation with her sister and the human trafficking ring. But, this is something else entirely. And, Tessa left with her hubby in an open-ended exit. However, she’s got more scenes coming this week.

Was Cait Fairbanks Sidelined for Cancer Story – Y&R Spoilers
Young and the Restless spoilers suggest Tessa Porter’s exit is less about her character — and more about another one. Because, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) receives her breast cancer diagnosis next week. And, her family needs her and she’ll take up a lot of time.
So, it may be that the soap exited her to free up Mariah to be there for her mother. Young and the Restless spoilers remind Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) broke up with Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) out of the blue. And, it’s likely for the same reason.
Plus, Y&R spoilers have Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) sticking around. So, this action, plus writing out Tessa Porter, clears the decks for a big cancer storyline for Sharon. Thus, it looks like Tessa’s collateral damage, hint Young and the Restless spoilers.
Tessa Gone for Good on Young and the Restless?
Y&R spoilers wonder if Tessa Porter’s recent exit is permanent. Fans are asking if Cait Fairbanks is really gone? Clearly, she’s gone for now. Because, she packed and left with her husband Tanner Watts (Chase Coleman). So, what’s next for Tesriah?
Young and the Restless spoilers say Tessa Porter’s goodbye was well crafted. Because, the CBS soap could have her respark things with her husband while on tour. Then, Tessa could tell Mariah she’s not coming back. Or, she could stay gone only for a short while.
Then, when Young and the Restless wraps the Sharon-centric story, they could pull Tessa Porter back onto the scene. For now, it looks like Mariah and Tessa remain in a long distance relationship communicating via phone. But it seems Tessa has ongoing scenes here and there.
So, as of now it’s likely undecided if Cait Fairbanks’ character will make it back to town. Since CBS daytime writes a month ahead, they’ve got plenty of time to decide the fate of Tessa Porter and whether she’ll come back after the tour. That means it’s a waiting game for fans concerned about Tesriah’s fate.
