Is Sally Spectra Leaving ‘Young and the Restless’?

Is Sally Spectra leaving Young and the Restless — Courtney Hope’s character faces huge challenges, and her enemies might push her out on the CBS soap.

Is Sally Spectra Leaving The Young and the Restless?

Just a week ago, Sally Spectra had everything she wanted. She had blossoming love with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). And she’d just been named CEO of Newman Media. For a girl who came to town broke and took an assistant job, that’s a huge deal.

Now, she’s got people targeting her now. Of course, this isn’t the first time that enemies wanted to run her out of Genoa City. And the good news is that Adam’s firmly in her corner. But if the CEO of Newman Enterprises gets her way, Sally could be gone on Y&R.

As for Sally leaving Young and the Restless — that’s exactly what Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) wants. So, the CEO’s happy that Adam turned down the demotion to stay at the family business. Next Vikki wants Adam’s gal pal gone, but it won’t be that easy…

For one, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) hasn’t given up on Adam. And he knows that keeping Sally around keeps the door open for his namesake son. So, he’ll be an obstacle in Victoria’s way as she tries to run the redhead out of the media company.

Adam Vows to Protect His Lady Love on Y&R

One person who definitely doesn’t want Sally going anywhere is Adam. He’s smitten and appreciates her loyalty. What’s ironic is him not shoving her aside as CEO is what has her at risk right now. If she was his COO, and him the boss, he could better protect her.

But he didn’t want to take the boss job that he’d just given her. Young and the Restless spoilers see Victor coming to Sally to convey a message to his black sheep son. Instead, he wants her to convince Adam to stick around. And if she can’t, the implication’s clear.

Unless Adam comes to the table, she might be out of a job. As for Vikki, her dad tells her to cool her jets and orders her to leave the redhead alone. But we know how well she listens to her dad. Expect her to keep the pressure on Sally, per Y&R spoilers.

So, she might try and push her to quit the job since The Mustache said she can’t fire Ms. Spectra directly. She might even think that her dad would praise her for running Sally off, just like he did when she tricked Ashland Locke (Robert Newman). But Adam’s watching…

Will Sally Exit Young and the Restless?

There were some rumors flying a few weeks ago that Sally Spectra might head back to The Bold and the Beautiful. That chatter was attached to a rumor that Mark Grossman was considering walking away from Young and the Restless.

Now, the leaks from behind the scenes at the CBS daytime drama indicate he inked a new deal and will stay as Adam. And that’s a positive sign that Sally’s staying on Y&R. So, there’s plenty more story to tell with the designer and her love interest.

Soon, her honey plots revenge with Ashland. But he vows that his love will keep her job and every opportunity he gave her. Will she support his revenge game? Or will his scheming cost her everything? Wait to see updates on Sally Spectra leaving.
